Clark loved it when Lois smiled, and it wasn't just because her smile was the most beautiful thing known to man, and kryptonian.
When Lois smiled his heart soared. Her smile made the world stop, even if it was just for a second. They told him everything would be fine and nothing bad would ever happen. Something bad always did end up happening, but her smile made everything more bearable.
Clark especially loved the smile she gave him after their daily banter session, which she unsurprisingly won; it was a special smile only for him that he returned with a smile only for her. Those smiles were always warm and perfect and made him tingle from head to toe.
Clark definitely loved her smile.
