Gray smirked excitedly. This would be the first time he and Natsu Skyped. It was thrilling. The possibilities were endless for what they could do. Perhaps business trips weren't all that bad after all.
"Hello, Natsu," Gray purred when he saw Natsu appear on his computer screen.
"Hi, Gray," Natsu replied. He looked like he was glowing.
"Are you that happy to see me already?" Gray chuckled lightheartedly.
"Oh, I'm happy. That's for sure." There was a moment's pause as Natsu glanced off to the side and looked back at him. "I met someone today."
Of all the things Natsu could have said, that was not one of them. "What do you mean?" Gray was literally sitting on the edge of his seat.
"I met someone while I went out shopping," Natsu said with a smile. "And…I kind of brought him home with me."
Gray was at a loss for words. "What the—I don't understand," he gasped.
"His name's Sting and he's really cute. He has the most beautiful blue eyes. You could get so lost in them. And he's a blonde. I think we're a perfect match for each other, actually. Plus, he tries to get in all the kisses he can get," laughed Natsu.
Gray couldn't believe what he was hearing. His boyfriend…had left him for someone else?
"Would you like to meet him, Gray?" asked Natsu cheerfully. "I think you two are really going to hit it off."
He was going to hit something when he came back home, and it would most likely be the one trying to take his boyfriend away from him! He then noticed that Natsu had abruptly left the screen. Was he seriously fetching this Sting person?
"Here he is!" Natsu announced giddily as he sat back down. "I told you he was cute!"
"Sting's a puppy?!" Gray roared when he saw the small golden retriever puppy with strange blue eyes in Natsu's arms.
Natsu frowned. "Yeah. What did you think I was talking about?"
Gray felt like bashing his head against the keyboard. Of course his boyfriend wouldn't cheat on him. What had he been thinking? He'd been away too long. As soon as he got back, he was going to take a vacation. A long vacation.
"So, do you like him?"
Gray looked back at them and smiled. "I sure do."
"Great!" he exclaimed in response. "Now I can introduce you to Rogue?"
"Who the fuck is Rogue?!" Gray roared once more. Was the puppy just a distraction from the real culprit?!
"The kitten," he answered matter-of-factly.
This time, Gray really did slam bash his head on the keyboard.
