Ciel Phantomhive, son of Vincent was doing his paperwork on a slow day. The Earl had a bad awakening, and the rein of misery continued throughout the day.

Sebastian had ordered Bardroy to awaken the boy since he had started on breakfast a bit later than he should have. Bard had decided he would wake the boy with tea like Sebastian did.

Bard tripped, and got tea on Ciel's bedclothes, burning him.

The young lord had then bumped his head on his night stand when he went to roll over. Thus causing a bruise on the boy's forehead.

Ciel was completely exhausted, and bored while doing his paperwork. The butler-Sebastian Michealis-walked in with a tray of tea, and a smile.

"My lord, I brought you some tea." Sebastian said calmly. Ciel glared up at him. His day was not going well. His mood wasn't so bright either.

Ciel broke down. He had started to cry, a tear at first, then a few more, and eventually he started to bawl. The confused butler had no idea what to do.

Sebastian slowly walked over to his young lord, and hugged him. He rubbed his back in comfort, and ran a hand through the Earl's hair.

"I don't want to do paperwork." Ciel cried.

"I know, but you have to. Your the Earl." Sebastian said sighing.

"I know..but sometimes, only sometimes..I wish that I wasn't the Earl at all." Ciel said. His lip began to tremble.

"My lord...I know it is hard to be the Earl, but you should embrace it. Your always so proud of your high status. You should be proud now." Sebastian put a hand on the boy's shoulder as he stood.

"I know I should be proud, but what kind of twelve year old wants to run a company. I don't have any time to myself. Except for when I'm asleep." Ciel mumbled.

"Alright, then. Tomorrow, you can take the day off, and I'll clear your schedule. Though, you do still have your lessons to attend to, so you'll do that tomorrow morning after breakfast, and then we can continue on your day off."

Sebastian gave the boy a kind smile, and left the room. Ciel felt better for some reason.
