"Hurry up and find the gems! The Guardian must not know we're here!" An English voice spoke.
Four figures in black cloaks rushed around the temple, looking for the 7 multi-coloured gems famous for the power they give. They eventually found them, put them in a sack, and gave them to their leader. She smiled.
"Wonderful. Now the Emeralds are in our hands no-one can stop us, not even Team Tranquil!"
The leader cackled loudly, which woke up the Knuckles, the Guardian. He ran to the source of the sound.
"Hey, what-YOU!" He said in his best English accent, which failed dramatically.
The echidna pointed to the slim black figure, who smirked.
"There's no point. We're taking you, no matter how many times you fight back."
She pointed forward, and her henchmen made her move.
An orange echidna heard shouting and screaming from the temple, then four figures exiting with two large sacks, one of which was moving. She swiftly ran to a stable, got on a chesnut horse, then rode away, one thing on her mind.
Knuckles in in trouble. I must get to Lady Melissa.
