A Shocking Surprise

Disclaimer: Every character belongs to her highness J. K. Rowling. We all bow down to her greatness.

Just a short humor that I composed late one night when I was having trouble deciding who Oliver should end up with, Charlie or Percy. Read on to find out.

Charlie had been nervous all week.

It was quite unusual for him, Percy knew him as being spontaneous and unafraid. A true Gryffindor.

It all started Monday, when Molly Weasley mentioned a dinner party for Sunday. The entire week was immediately filled with events of cleaning and inviting. Each child was responsible for his or her own room as well as other tasks set before him. Each child had to also set up a list of people they wished to invite and personally inviting them.

Charlie had been unusually nervous all week.

Twice during the week had he received an owl; delivered, Percy noticed, by the same brown-feathered owl. Both times, Charlie become silent, abandoning his cleaning responsibilities for the moment being (much to Ron's chagrin) to read the private note and to safely store it away from the wandering eyes of his brothers and sister. Each time he returned there was no mention of the letter or its sender. Any sign of a conversation and Charlie sealed his lips shut.

Molly chalked up his abnormal behavior to being apprehension and teased her son about a girlfriend. Charlie just blushed beet red, muttered some unintelligible excuse about having something to do, and made like a Lockhart and quickly retreated.

Percy finally realized why the brown owl was so familiar. He knew the bird's owner. Percy recognized his brother's weird manner and began to form a sneaking suspicion.

Charlie was especially, unusually nervous today, because today was the party.

Charlie paid particular attention to his appearance. Percy had a knowing smirk. He knew a secret.

The party began and once guest began to arrive, Charlie became anxious. He paced back and forth until the arrival of a certain guest…Oliver Wood.

Molly was shocked back into the kitchen; her second eldest son was gay! Arthur and Bill paid no mind. The twins laughed uncontrollably at just who had caused Charlie's distress. Ron remained visibly shocked; Ginny just brushed it off. Percy, however, remained quiet until later, later when he could talk to her brother alone.

"So, Oliver Wood, huh?" Percy said nonchalantly to Charlie when he was finally alone.

"Yea," Charlie laughed nervously, brushing his fingers through his hair. "Things just kinda clicked."

"Have you gotten together?" Percy continued.

"Errr…yea…" Charlie replied embarrassed, blushing profusely. He's…ah…quite good."

"Oh, I know." Percy replied smoothly. "I had some of that myself." And walked off.

Charlie's jaw dropped, and he had to pinch himself to make sure he hadn't imagined it. He was speechless. That was definatley NOT something he expected to come out of Percy's mouth. It was far from it. In fact, this had to be one of the first times ever Percy shocked him.

He watched on as Percy strode over to Oliver and whispered something in his ear. A strange glint appeared in Percy's eyes as Oliver nodded.

Charlie didn't want to know what Percy said. For all he knew, Percy had asked for a threesome.

He looked again and noticed the same strange glint in Oliver's eyes. Charlie instantly ferociously shook the thoughts out of his head.

Never! Percy would never suggest something like that…or so he thought.

Dun dun dunnnn…Now the rest is left up to your imagination.

Hope you enjoyed my pathetic attempt at a comedy. It would be most appreciated if you could please review the story and tell me your thoughts: good, bad, or indifferent.

So long for now!
