Glee à la Season Four. Everyone is dreading it. Grasping our favorite characters by the thread of their shirts as they try to run away.
But there is no denying that someday this doomsday will be brought upon us, and as, teary eyed, we stare, hopelessly, at our television screen in the moment, our last wish being that maybe, maybe, Ryan Murphy has spared our souls and kept everyone one of our beloved New Directions back, we will realize:
Oh. Yeah, that wasn't so bad.
In my case, I'm sure to experience Kurt withdrawal. Though, now is not the time to fall weary at our eventual fates. This is still a season away.
Instead, I'm going to write some fanfiction, posing some fancy Season Four dreams. And you, my dear friend, you who is staring blankly at this screen and wondering why I'm so melodramatic, you are going to help me.
By submitting a character! (Cue unrealistically happy face.)
I figure ("figger", as I say now, being I'm devolving a Maine accent, not that I'm very happy about it) I can use this to overcome my writer's block and use my time wisely, and you can read about your characters making their way through a hostile Ohio public school.
I have only a few rules-
1. Avoid the Mary Sues. No one likes a Mary Sue. Rather an annoying character than a perfect one- or at least, that's the way I see it. I don't want to write for a Mary Sue. If you don't give them flaws, I will.
2. Details! You can not possibly give me too many. If it doesn't exceed 10,000 characters, all is well. And that is only because Fanfiction won't let you review anymore than this. You're probably going to be reading a long story about this character- you want them to be exactly the way you imagine, right? Right! So gimme details!
3. I am only human. If this is not understood, go listen to Darren Criss's album, then come back. If you don't like how your character turned out, tell me, I can work to fix them as much as I can. I can't read minds or anything like that. This is also why *cough* you should *cough* use *cough* details! *cough*
Also, I'd love to hear about plot ideas for your character, or relationships with already submitted characters, or all that jazz. I can make them up by myself, though, this is fine, but it's certainly nice to have help, or hear what you want for your character.
Feel free to submit several. I'm always free through PM, and I'd love a gazillion.
Now! You with the face (I hope?)! Go submit!
