Trick-or-treat

Hong Kong, satisfied with his costume, grabs a bag and heads over to Iceland's house. He knocks on the door.

Footsteps are heard inside. "Coming!" Iceland opens the door and sees Hong Kong in a costume. Dressed as a vampire complete with fangs and a cape. He was even holding a bag for candy. "Ha ha, very funny. You're not that young anymore to be trick-or-treating."

"Thank you."

Iceland crosses his arm. "That wasn't a compliment."

Hong Kong ignores the statement. "Trick? Or treat?"

"You're not getting any candy from me."

"Then come trick-or-treating with me."

"No way! Not a chance. We aren't kids anymore!"

Hong Kong stares at him. "Why not? There isn't any book of rules that says teens can't."

"That's because there isn't any book of rules." he says while tapping on the doorknob.

"..."

"Alright alright! Wait in the living room. I'll go find a costume." Iceland opens the door wide and heads upstairs. Meanwhile, Hong Kong waits patiently in the livingroom.

About ten minutes have passed and Iceland hasn't come back down. So Hong Kong decides to check on him. He sees that Iceland is busily looking through the closet. He was even throwing some clothes out into the middle of the room. There was already a pile.

Hong Kong just smiles. And since Iceland hasn't noticed his presence, he decides to sneek up on him. He checks first to make sure the plastic fangs are on correctly.

"Uwaah!" Iceland eyes widens and he covers his neck.

"Cute reaction."

"What are you doing?"

"I'm a vampire."

"I know that. I meant, what was that all about!" Iceland crosses his arm again.

"You didn't answer my question."

"Question?"

"Remember? Trick? Or treat?"

"What- Which one was that suppose to be?"

"Whichever. " Hong Kong goes by the window and greets the puffin.

Iceland, during the slight distraction, hides his slight blushing face with a mask. Hong Kong turns and sees that Iceland is wearing a mask. "Decided on a costume?"

He nods, "... yeah."

"Hmm..." he stares toughtfully.

"W-what?" Iceland glances nervously.

"I think..." Hong Kong looks around the room, picks a few items, and tugs a feather behind Iceland's ear, then hands him a cloak. "now you're ready." He then heads downstairs.

Iceland is left alone with the puffin.

Mr. Puffin flies to his shoulder. "Hey kid! You're falling behind. And take me with you."

"I'm not a kid! And fine, you can come." He waits until his face cools down a bit.

He heads downstairs, but sees that Hong Kong is not there. "Hong Kong?" He looks around. "Hong Kong?" He feels a tap on his shoulder which causes him to yell.

Hong Kong takes a step back. "Sorry. Didn't think you would get scared so easily."

"I- I was just surprised. That's all."

"Of course. Now let's go."

"I can't believe I'm doing this..."

Both head outside, along with the puffin, and Hong Kong knocks on the first door. "You'll have fun," then he faces the door and says, "Trick-or-treat!"

They get candy, and Hong Kong even convinces Iceland to say "trick-or-treat."

Now he takes his cellphone out, "Smile," and snaps a photo of Iceland.

Thanks for reading!

And thank you to the one who took the time to remind me that the website does not allow script format \(^^)/

Also, this idea is something I came up from picking out of a hat. I was with my cousin, and we decided to write down characters' name and a topic on pieces of paper. Then we put it inside a hat, and pick out the paper. I got "Hong Kong" and "Trick-or treating on Halloween." Whatever we got, we would have to write a script. I changed it to story format for this website.
