"Hey Edward, I bet that I can eat spicier foods than you," Mike challenged. Edward raised his eyebrows.
"Oh really, Mike?" Edward grinned as Mike nodded. "You're on." Both Mike's and my jaws were on the ground as we heard this. Edward, my vampire boyfriend, eating? "Alice, go get the peppers."
Edward sat nonchalantly face-to-face with Mike. Before long, Alice bounced in with two of each three different peppers. From left to right, one of them an orange red tinge with a pointed tip, another small bell shaped pure orange one, lastly, a fiery scarlet one that was a pea pod shaped.
"The first one is the Naga Jolokia, third hottest pepper in the world," Alice gestured to the red orange one; Mike gulped, "the second is the Red Savia Habenero which is the world's second, then we have the Bhut Jolokia chili from India, also known as the world's hottest pepper." She placed the Naga Jolokia into each of their hands. Edward popped it into his mouth as Mike did the same, face turning red instantly. Edward cringed slightly as he swallowed. Mike mimicked his motion.
Edward fingered for the Habenero, completely unaffected. Mike copied him his palms looking very sweaty. Edward showed off by slowly placing it into his mouth, chewing it. Mike just quickly slid it down his throat.
Now, the Bhut Jolokia, Edward bit into it, lingering to watch his idiotic apponent. Mike tried to do the same, but ended up screaming,
"AAH! SOMEONE HOSE ME!"
