Surprise
A/N: Hey guy this is another attempt of me writing a fic so please enjoy and R&R.
He was looking around trying to spot her and I sighs as his search fails again. He has been waiting for her for an hour and she still hasn't shown yet. He taps His foot impatiently and glancing at my watch from time to time.
"So who are you waitin' for?"
"I'm waitin' for my friend she's late as usual" He replies.
He turns around to see his girlfriend behind him looking at me with a smile.
"What took ya so long?" he asks.
"What do mean I've been standing here with you for ten minutes" She answers.
He stares at her with a confused look. She just sighs and loops her arm around his and pulls him along. His mind is racing trying to understand how she was there behind him and he didn't notice.
'How in the world did I not notice her there beside me?'
"So where is this place you wanted to take me to?"
"Huh?"
"So where is this place you wanted to take me to?" she repeats
"Oh well it's right here"
"Here, but it's that new expensive restaurant that just opened"
"That's right and I got us reservations"
"You did how in the world did you do that?"
"I have my ways"
They heads into the restaurant and are immediately seated.
"This place is very fancy and expensive you know how can you afford this?
"One of our mutual friends is a friend with the owner"
"Okay"
"So go a head and order whatever you want"
"I will"
The both of them ordered their meal and want into a comfortable conversation.
"So how is work going?"
"It's going good and how about you?"
"Excellent though I wish I didn't have to be out of town so much"
"You're not the only one" he says with a smile
There meals came and they began to eat.
"Here try this I think you'll like it?"
"Only if you try some of mine"
They ate in silence for a while until dessert came.
"I didn't order any dessert did you?"
He smiles as he uses his fork to cut the dessert, a piece of chocolate cake, in half. He the picks something out and it's a ring.
"Will you marry me?"
"Yes, oh yes I will!"
He places the ring free of cake on her finger and they kiss.
"I love you, Mimi Tachikawa"
"I love you too, Izzy Izumi"
