If faced with death, surely one's expected response would be to shit themselves senseless. So, why was it that, when faced with death's messenger, these imbecilic humans had the nerve to laugh in his face and wave him off? Completely unacceptable, no?

But perhaps we are getting ahead of ourselves, in telling you this tale. Let us start from the beginning. Allen Walker: deceased at age 18, male, British. Rather short, considering his age, but we shall save that for another nightly tale.

Allen lived a hard life, which we consider, wholeheartedly, to be an understatement. Poor boy, having been caught in the middle of a family war. He also died in order to protect his loved one, you know? Oh, but we digress- Walker's life was anything but happy, though we're sure there were times where the lad felt content...

But perhaps we should play for you, the boy's memories instead?

So be it.

Watch, then, as the life of death's loyal messenger plays before you. Maybe you'll come to understand the enigma that is Allen Walker, in place of all those who tried before you, but in vain.

But be warned, brave one, as we do not choose the order in which these memories play. It is up to you to grasp and make sense of what you are shown. And on another note, do not worry if fragments of Walker's current afterlife as a shinigami appear- as they so often do. While it is a glitch in the system that we cannot fix, we find that it helps individuals like you better understand the concept that is Allen Walker.

In the meantime, we suggest you rest up, for the journey ahead of you will not be an easy one.
