Chapter 1
"Cross wake up now!" snapped the teacher.
Mmm? What's going on? Looking around the Yuuki got up prepared for the teacher's wrath.
"Oh no, I fell asleep again! I'm so sorry" a laugh from behind her, made Yuuki look around, it was zero.
Yuuki stuck her tongue out, it was his fault she was so tired, making her stay up to study for math.
Yuuki sighed and looked back at the teacher hoping to be let off easy today.
"Don't let this happen, or next time ill send you to the headmaster's office" said the teacher as she turned back to the board.
After class zero waited for Yuuki so they could go back to their dorm to get ready for the night class's arrival. Zero stopped and pulled Yuuki aside before she could go to her room.
"Huh? What's the matter zero? Yuuki said as she looked up into his eyes and saw the familiar look.
Oh, she thought, he needs blood…my blood.
"Zero…" Yuuki said before he pushed her against the wall and slowly leaned in to bite her.
At first, yuuki thought that zero didn't bite her, so she slightly moved her neck and felt a pang of a few minutes zero pushed back from her.
"im sorry yuuki, I really am.. being a vampire its in my nature to hurt the-"
Tears swelling in her eyes yuuki slapped zero and went into her room.
Zero wanted to knock on her door, but his hand wouldn't my nature…zero walked off knowing she would be down later trying to keep the day class students from the night class.
Yuuki heard zeros footsteps fade away. Silently hopeing that he would come her room to the window, she looked out.
The night class's dorms had opened and yuuki was late. Slipping out the window, yuuki ran through the group crowding kaname and aido.
" im sorry im so late" yuuki said trying to hold back the girls.
"ouch,get back please!" yuuki felt a hand on her shoulder, it was kaname.
"kaname-sama?" yuuki said with a smile.
"yuuki, are you alright? Please tell me if something is bothering you."
A girl yelled in her ear, mad that yuuki was special to kaname. Yuuki stiffened, kaname always knew how she felt.
"kaname-sama, I'm fine I just wish zero was here to help me."
Kaname looked over the crowd looking for him, thinking he was so useless, not helping yuuki. She could get hurt.
"back it up! Move"
A edgy silver haired boy was making a path straight towards them.
'kuran" zero said as he avoided Yuuki's cold stare.
Kaname noticed this but didn't say anything as he gave a little wave to yuuki as he walked away.
"zero, why are you alwayas so rude to kaname-sama? Is that in your nature to?" yuuki said as she began to walk back to the dorm.
Zero quietly watched her walk away and pulled out the bloody rose from under his jacket.
Kaname wasn't that far off, zero thought as he aimed the gun at him.
Yuuki turned around to tell zero she was sorry when she saw him pointing the bloody rose at kaname.
And she began to run straight for zero.
