Jack's Story
Jack leans into the crib staring at the newborn inside. His eyes stare back at him, but the mouth, chin and face are his beloved's. Jack smiles and kisses the baby's head.
"Once Upon a Time a legendary pirate king lived in the vast Caribbean. He had everything he could ever best ship, a loyal crew, riches and fame. However one morning as he stared at the glorius Caribbean sunrise, he felt his heart wench with a missing piece. Soon he discovered he needed love. More specifically the love of his dreams, Sarina." Jack's velvet voice floated in the room like it was made to be there. The baby watched it's father with rapt attention as Jack acted out the parts with voices and everything.
"And then the mighty Pirate King told the Governor of Port Royal with a flash of smugness. "My dearest Governor, I would but step aside and let the beautiful Sarina marry the lovely Commodore but it seems to me, that your daughter has chosen for herself." He said and the flabbergasted Governor saw his daughter appeared to be chained to the said pirate. He boiled with rage and start to engage the pirate in a swordfight but not before his daughter left the pirates side running to safty aboard his ship, the Black Pearl." Jack said softly still in character. The baby giggled.
"And the two men began to fight but it was soon revealing who was the better swordsmen. The Pirate King fought with bravery and honor, like a lion defending it's pack, like the legend he was. The Governor soon fell and the pirate gave him an option, death with honor or mercy. The Governor replied.." Jack trailed off when he sees her in the doorway smiling.
"Mercy which the Pirate King granted and he and the Beautiful Sarina lived Happily Ever After." Jack finished looking sheepish.
"Is this how you put Ariana to sleep my husband?" She asks coyly. Jack grins and envelopes her waist.
"Soon she will get tired of it." He shrugs. She smiles and kisses him with tenderness, compassion and love. The baby gurgles in response as the two of them kiss again before breaking away. She tends to the baby placing a kiss on her forehead and lulling her to sleep before going back to her husband. Jack picks her up bridal style kisses her and the two of them disappear after closing the nursery door.
