Sequel to "Like a Broken Bird". I think this one is better, since it focuses more on his pain (which I LOVE writing about, for some reason u.u). The first one focused on his life, and this one focuses on his pain and suffering, and his doubt in God (he believes in fate, not God). The last one was so successful, I decided to write another one. If you want me to, I'll write one on Lilith's death from Cain's point of view. That is, if you want. I must recieve five or more emails/pm's to write one plus the tax of $100 ;D. Okay, I was kidding about the $100 thing, crap...
Dear Lord,
If you exist, if you care
If you love, are you there?
Where were you when I slayed innocent lives?
Where were you when I cried out?
Where were you when I fell into a sea of void,
Never to return again?
Where were you?
Where are you?
You say you love me, but I feel nothing but the pain
...as the victims I've slain.
I wish you can hear me, I wonder if you know
I'm hurting inside, my guilt only shows.
If you exist, if you see
the pain growing inside of me.
Day by day the hours pass by
the minutes singing to me like a lullabye.
I know they love me, but they will never understand
my one eternal sin, my greatest demand.
Save me if you care, love me if you know
save me from my final deathblow.
It rains tonight as I talk to you
I often wonder if you're crying too.
If you exist, if you love
Tell me I'm a fallen angel from above.
Stop reminding me my hurt, of my pain
that your grace may fall upon me like the rain.
Dear Lord, tell me if it's true
that my sin was bestowed from me onto you.
If you exist, if you live
give me the life that you give
So that I may be free again.
Free from my suffering,
Free from my bondage,
and free from myself, the monster that I am.
Hear my cry, hear my plea
so that I may again see.
If you exist, if you feel
tell me what it's like to be real...
...tell me what it's like to be normal.
Dear Lord, where are you?
