The Fight
"Kagome!" The little kitsune jumped in her arms. "Did you bring me anything?" The creature looked at her with eager eyes. She hugged it. Meanwhile, Inuyasha was getting just a little jealous.
As Kagome reached in her pack for a leftover candy cane, Inuyasha spoke, "So, why were you gone for so long?" He folded his arms across his chest and tapped his foot. "So, are you going to answer me or not?!?" he hollered. She gave Shippo a giant candy cane then set him on the ground. "WELL?!?" Inuyasha yelled in her ear. She muttered a few words to herself. "What did you say?"
"SIT!" she hollered and he plunged to the ground. The fox then jumped on his back singing, "how much is that doggy in the window?". He pushed it off. The candy stuck on its clothes. Shippo ran over to Kagome and tugged at her skirt.
"Kagome," Shippo whined, "Inuyasha hit me and my candy fell on my clothes and on the ground and."
"STOP!" she cried in Shippo's ear, "I am absolutely tired of you always nagging, 'Inuyasha this!' and 'Inuyasha that!' GROW UP! Go bother someone else!" she hollered as she walked away. Being a sensitive creature and hurt many times before, Shippo started to cry.
"Oh!" exclaimed Inuyasha as he went after Kagome. Shippo was all alone.
He sat there and thought, 'Oh! I'm all alone, again! I was afraid of this.' The fox was starting to well up with tears, again. 'I'll run away! Find new friends! Friends that won't abandon me, or, or.' He paused. "Yell at me! WWWAAA!!!" It yelled and ran as fast as it could.
Meanwhile, Inuyasha was trying to soften up Kagome. "Why'd you yell at the pipsqueak?" he asked as he jumped from tree to tree. "He didn't do anything wrong!" He waited for a response, but there was silence. "I know I don't admit this everyday, but." He jumped in front of her to make her stop walking so fast. "It's really my fault," he said with sincere eyes.
Kagome stared, then whispered, "Sit." BOOM! A new crater had just been formed. He got up.
"You still didn't answer my first question! Why were you gone for so long? And another thing, why are you so upset?" asked Inuyasha while he wiped the dust off himself.
"Look," she said with a stern voice, "Answer #1: I had to spend Christmas with my family!" she screamed, then calmed down. "Answer #2: I'm tired, I'm irritable, I'm cranky." he was still standing in front of her. "DO you not understand me?!? Leave me ALONE!!!" With that, she walked off in a huff.
"No," said Inuyasha grabbing her by the arm, "Shippo's just a kid. Say sorry," he said in his most serious voice. She pulled away, stuck her nose in the air, and grunted. "What you told me wasn't the truth, was it?" He looked in Kagome's eyes. "Tell me that you told the truth!" She turned away.
"I lied!" she hollered. "Hojo isn't talking to me anymore 'cause, 'cause. I don't know!" She started to cry. Kagome put her head on Inuyasha's shoulder. As jealous as he was, he comforted her.
After that, they tried to find Shippo. He was no where to be found. 'If I were Shippo, where would I be?' wondered Kagome to herself. Meanwhile, Inuyasha was calling her. His back was bent as he said, "Are you coming or not?" She nodded her head and boarded his back. A few minutes later, they found Shippo. He was in a dark part of the forest, all alone. 'Oh Shippo.' thought Kagome to herself. She ran up to the little kitsune and hugged it. She wiped the tears from its eyes. "I'm so sorry," she began as she reached in her pack, "I won't do it again! I took it out on the wrong person, it should've been Inuyasha!" A smile gleamed across both of their faces as she gave him a lolly pop. Inuyasha meanwhile was making a move a Shippo's tail. "SIT!!! SIT!!! AND A THOUSAND TIMES MORE, SIT!!!"
