Baby Bottles and Love
A/N This is just a little something I came up with, I don't know how far it will go it depends on the response I guess, Let me know!
She didn't go directly home after she got the devastating new from Dr. Brown; instead she drove to a park. She was all alone in the park, no children, and no worried parents, just her. She was scared and alone she needed to tell Ephraim but Dr. Brown told her not to. But Ephraim needed to know! I should just have an abortion. And not tell anyone. She thought. But that wasn't right and she knew it.
"I have to tell him, there's just no other way-"She concluded. "I'll tell him tonight."
Madison left the park and drove home.
"So what are we doing tonight, in this boring but somehow satisfying town?" Ephraim asked Amy.
"Satisfying? I have never heard someone call Everwood that." Any shook her head and him.
"Yeah, that didn't answer my question." Ephraim tried to look at her with out smiling, of coarse he couldn't!
"I don't know somewhere simple." Amy smiled at him.
"How about we go get ice cream tonight, that's simple right?" Ephraim wrapped his arms around her as they walked down the halls of the high school.
"Sure." Amy replied getting goose bumps when he touched her.
The bell rang and they were suddenly the only students in the hall.
"Ephraim we gotta go!" Amy said trying to pull away.
"No we don't." Ephraim pulled her close to him and gently kissed her.
"Yes, we do!" Amy laughed as he tried to kiss her again.
"Alright fine." Ephraim gave in and let go of her. "I love you Amy."
"I love you too Ephraim." Amy kissed his cheek and ran to her class.
Ephraim watched her run and then turned around and slowly walked to his class.
"Art sucks anyway." He said before he walked into the class room.
Edna heard what the doctor had just said but didn't want to believe it. It couldn't be true, just a mistake with the lab. She told herself, but deep down she knew it was true. As much as she didn't want to believe it, it was true.
"How long?" She managed to get out.
"A year maybe. I'm so sorry to have to have given you this awful news." The doctor told her. "Have I explained everything enough? Do you have any questions?"
"No, I'm fine I just need to go home." Edna felt like she as already dead as she got up and walked out of the doctor's office. I'll be ok, I'll make it! She told herself as she drove home almost in tears.
"So Andy, what do you want for your birthday?" Nina asked Andy and he sat and drank his late afternoon coffee.
"Hello? Earth to Andy!" Nina laughed at him.
"Oh what? I'm sorry Nina I've had a very stressful day-and I'll talk to you later." Andy paid, got up, and then left.
"Wonder what's bothering him." Nina whispered as she got back to work.
