A planet full of foes he sees,

For warrior such a thing is bliss.

Though alone, he stood his ground

When bloody Tyranids he found.

His people great, the Altansar,

Were in the Warp, forgotten far.

And though he heard no battle cry,

There was pure rage in Maugan Ra.

Destruction was wherever he stood.

Swarms came and fell, to please his mood.

His mighty weapon, the Maugetar...

It was his only friend for now.

He came there in the name of Khaine,

To consume in utter pain.

And though he saw seas full of blood,

There was no shock in Maugan Ra.

So days and months have easily passed,

But the last foe did die at last.

His fighting soul preserves no sin,

He did not have to fight his kin.

Yet he does not feel much gain,

From all the enemies here slain.

For all the blood, and death, and gore,

The Phoenix Lord has to ignore.

Great Maugan Ra,

Great Maugan Ra.
