Love Like No Other

Tohru sat outside, staring into the sky. She didn't notice Kyo coming because she was too busy thinking about him. She sighed and leaned against the tree.

Kyo looked outside and saw Tohru leaning against her favorite tree. He smiled a little and headed over to her. It wasn't too hot out and he saw her wearing a cute skirt outfit. He sat down next to her and it took her a minute to figure out he was there. When she did…

"Kyo! I am so sorry! I didn't see you there!" she apologized frantically. Kyo put his hand up as if to silence her. To his surprise she went quiet. He looked up at the clouds.

"What were you thinking about? Ah…. wait…. you don't have to…" He trailed off, hoping she would tell him. Tohru blushed and looked at him.

" I was…thinking…about you." She murmured, barely loud enough for him to hear her. But he did and blushed as well. They both turned away but after a while Kyo turned back around.

"Tohru I was thinking, do…. wait…Do you like me?" He stammered waiting for her devastating answer.

"N-no Kyo I don't like you." Was all she said, and Kyo's heart sunk to his knees.

"You don't?" He asked. To his surprise Tohru shook her head and kissed him, the sweetest kiss he will ever get. His eyes went wide and he kissed her back. When she pulled away her eyes were shimmering with pure joy and she was scared of his answer. Kyo just sat there, unaware of her earnestness. He looked at her and hugged her. POOF! He was a cat. Tohru picked him up and stroked him.

"Kyo. I love you, I don't like you I love you." She told him and POOF! He was human again. Kyo got dressed and tapped her shoulder and when she turned around her caught her in another kiss. Tohru's eyes went wide and pulled away from him and ran off, showing him her playful side. Kyo smiled and ran after her. When they reached a clearing he tackled her gently and they went into a fit of laughter. Kyo stopped laughing and touched her cheek before kissing her again. When they finished, Kyo laid down beside her.

"I love you Tohru, I always have. I should have told you sooner, but I just couldn't." He told her standing up. He took a box out from his pocket and handed it to her.

"That ring represents my feelings for you and hope you will return them." He said before kissing her again. Then he smiled and walked off. Tohru opened the box and pulled out a gold ring with a red heart embedded in it. She turned it over and aw an engraving.

"WE HAVE A LOVE LIKE NO OTHER"

She smiled and slipped it on.

"When I wear this ring…it shows my feelings for you, Kyo."
