Prologue: The Secret Task
Davina stepped into a small white room. It was so small, the only piece of furniture to take note of was a black armchair. She had a fondness for such little rooms with a chair, and a video camera, and a speaker system as well. She slumped down on the chair, facing the camera.
The speakers came on. "Hello, Davina. How are you feeling?"
"I'm okay."
"We have a bit of a situation here. ÜberCougar has broken out of prison."
Davina sighed. She had a bad experience with the lady werecat known as ÜberCougar. The last time they met, the two women traded scratches: Cougar had her claws, Davina used a fishing hook. Ultimately the cat was cornered in the store room, and Davina had the key.
"We have here an audio clip from the Cougar. She sounds like she's got plans."
The Cougar's voice recording started playing. "Davina, by the time you hear this I will have started wreaking havoc all over the world. You will not be able to find me, nor will any of your friends, not to mention your "big brother". Come and get me if you can."
"What's the plan Davina?"
"I think I know. Übercougar, you think you are sharper than any of us, huh? Well, we have the edge, and your henchmen are just clowns ready to be mocked. Please say goodbye to your evil plans. I'm coming to get you!" She stood up, ready to leave the room.
"You may now leave the Diary Room through the door to your left," the Big Brother voice said. "Big Brother will get back to you, very soon."
