Done as yet ANOTHER attempt at the CloudXAerith 100 Themes Challenge, this theme is sun.
Disclaimer: I do not own the characters, nor the game, all I own is this story. BTW, I like Costa Del Sol. xDD
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walking out to the balcony of his house in Costa Del Sol, Cloud watched the sun lowering slowly towards the horizon. This was his favorite time of day, just before night fell, and he could be left on his own. He never did like people running after him, trying to shake his hand, or to ask for his autograph or something else that invaded his privacy. He wanted time on his own, but he was sort of stupid to move to the beach, seeing the amount of people that came each day, it never seemed like Cloud be alone, unless it was nighttime.
All he wanted was time on his own to think, to think about her. Was that to much to ask for? Apparently it was, because people kept knocking on his front door, wanting to meet the hero of the planet themselves. Cloud rarely answered when the knocking began, but soon he got so annoyed by it, he ignored them completely. All he wanted was time on his own to think.
But it was to much to ask for, unless it was nighttime. He sighed heavily as the sun got closer and closer to the horizon, wishing she was here with him now, watching the beautiful sight before him, was the sky started going purply-pink. He leaned over the balcony slightly, watching the couples on the beach, wishing him and her was one of them, kissing.
But it was to much to ask for, he could never have any of this, ever. He closed his eyes, breathing in the sea air, in truth, if it wasn't for all the people, he would love living near a beach, with her, but it was to much to ask for.
You know
Nighttime isn't all that good
Get out there Cloud
In the sun
For me.
Cloud smiled slightly, realizing how stupid he had been, she was watching the sunset with him, she could live with him on the beach, not physically anyway. And he felt her hand on his arm, like she had never left.
Aeris had a point, the nighttime isn't all that good, he would get out in the sun, for her.
And maybe your complexion, yeah?
He grinned, typical Aeris.
