1985: Prolouge
A boy, dropped from the sky as a baby. He fell onto an island. This island is known as Yoshi's Island. The Yoshis found the boy and after much difficulty, they discovered what the boy wanted. His brother fell somewhere else and he wanted to find him. The Yoshis, kind as they are, decided to take the boy with them to find his brother.
Once, one of the Yoshis dropped the boy. He had to fend for himself when a gigantic Chain Chomp was nearing towards him. The Chomp's white eyes with no pupils sparked fear into the boy. However, they boy stood on his feet and grabbed the Chomp and threw him into the sky. That was when the Yoshi found him. The boy hopped on the Yoshi's back and they continued on their journey.
The Yoshis finally found his brother who was locked inside the castle belonging to a Koopa and his caretaker, Kamek. Kamek made the Koopa grow in size but that didn't matter to the Yoshis, and the Yoshis and the boy defeated the Koopa and Kamek. They also saved the boy's brother.
The boy's name was Mario. His brother, Luigi.
Mario and Luigi, when they grew up, became plumbers and while looking at a strangely large pipe, they were sucked into the world known as Mushroom Kingdom. There they found a world in turmoil as their princess and her Toads were captured by a Koopa, the same Koopa Mario and the Yoshis defeated so long ago. They defeated the Koopa, now known as King Bowser, and saved their princess, Princess Peach.
Over the years, Mario obtained large fame from the rescue and with his brother, helped the princess many times from the evil King Bowser. Mario also developed a close relationship to Princess Peach and even though they weren't married, you could still call him the Mushroom Kingdom's King even though he doesn't truly have the title. Mario's iconic moustache, red cap, and overalls would become a staple for the Mushroom Kingdom.
The story continues from the eyes of a close personal friend of Mario's.
