Well, I said I was going to write PJO, but then I didn't. Now I am.

There was a perfectly good reason as to why I was riding in the back of a squad car with Thalia Grace. We had just left a Target, where we were picking up some demigod supplies (i.e. toilet paper and granola bars), and yes, I must admit, I was a bit nervous. It was my first "official" quest from a camp, which meant more strict goals, and no godly help. I guess Thalia noticed this, and she tried to cheer me up by firing arrows into the centre of the store's sign. None of the mortals noticed, bupsa passing police officer seemed to be able to see through the mist. Normally, mortal police don't pose much of a problem for us, but we were in a crowded parking lot, with no clear way of escape that wasn't sure to end in lots of injuries. We were promptly escorted into the police car. We were on our way to the station, and Thalia turned to me and whispered, "Nico, you didn't do anything wrong, and I know you can escape from here. I'll catch up with you later." I stood my ground. "No," I said, "I'm not leaving you alone. Give me one good reason why I should." A mischievious smile played across her face, and she grabbed me, and kissed me. It was childish of me, but I was so shocked that I shadow-travelled away instantly. In a strange way, I almost wish that I hadn't.

Thanks for reading my first attempt at non-joke romance. Let me know what you thought.
