Cole looked at the stars from the deck of the Bounty. Zane curled up beside him, his head on the crook of one of Cole's arms, the other was holding him close. Zane's face was upturned, so Cole could see that he was smiling and his eyes were shut. Cole smiled and closed his own eyes. A stream of images flashed in his mind.

Cause I know that you'd feel me somehow

The first time he had seen Zane, standing proud against the rain. They had fought, until Zane had fell to prevent Lloyd being discovered

The second healing. Even now he could feel ghostly fingers sending shivers up his spine

The night they had seen the dark island on the horizon. He could see his memory self push memory Zane's hair behind his ear and see Zane wrap his arms around the other Cole's waist.

Zane's arm draped over his shoulders as he woke him up after the Bounty crashed

And I don't want the world to see me

The night they spent together after Zane found out he was a robot

The images flowed faster now. Zane gaining his true potential, he looked wicked, half his face metal, the other half the serene prince he was. Zane smiling up at him, eyes dying but as proud as always.

He sat up, screaming as he had that day. Zane, who was lurking nearby, rushed over.

"Cole, what is wrong?" Zane's voice was concerned.

He smiled lovingly at him "Nothing, just memories. Did you have a vision? What was it?"

Zane shook his head, "No, I was just reminiscing as well" Cole smiled and hugged him.
