Hello! For those that know me, this is a remake of the other 'New World'. I really couldn't think of what else to put for the other one, so I looked at suggestions and decided to re-write it. This will have new characters in it, and some of the old ones are gone. Some. So I hope you'll like this one better, I already do. And sorry if you liked the other one better. I find this one a bit easier to write. This is just an intro, so I'm sorry that it's so short. This is literally the shortest thing I wrote, but oh well.
New World
The screeching of tires was all they heard before they what was happening. The honking of what must've been a million horns. The sound of metal crashing into metal resounded in the ears, followed by an explosion. In that moment, some heart beats stopped for good with no knowledge of what just occurred. Heat suddenly embraced the rest. Breathing immediately Immense pain was the only thing they two living felt. On their last breath, they heard the distant sound of sirens, people screaming and yelling, and the sound of themselves practically hacking out their lungs.
"G-guys!" One of them somehow managed through the sounds of screaming and sirens. Black smoke clouded their view, the flames began rising over them. They felt their very skin dry out in seconds, then start to peel away. That was it. They were all gone except for one last one who was seconds away from taking their last breath.
Now practically burned out, they barely managed to open their eyes. When they did though, their eyes widened in shock despite the instant tears that came from smoke and flames. The still bodies of his dearest friends lay everywhere. Some covered with cuts from glass shards, some with metal scraps painfully jutting out of their bodies, but all were burned. He looked over them one last time, hoping for one of them to open their eyes. Of course no such thing happened. No such miracles would occur. Another burst of pain made him stumble back and fall, right in front of him was his friends. 'This is the end.' He thought. More flames and smoke clouded his vision before he closed his eyes one last time.
The bystanders heads snapped in the accidents direction as soon as they heard the loud tire screeching. Their eyes widened in shock as they the two vehicles collide in a horrific way. Seconds later, it exploded. Some were even recording at this point. Most ran back to avoid the shards of glass and metal that flew out. Someone already dialed, and they heard distant sirens. The fire trucks arrived.
'Too late.' Some thought. 'The drivers are surely gone by now.' They watched as the fire fighters put the flames out. The police cleared the area where the car accident ocurred. What the bystanders didn't see was that there were passengers in one of the cars. But it was too late to save any of them. Too late to save those kids…
I honestly don't know where that came from. And like I said, it's short. Oh and I'm going to be following the manga series with some parts of the TV series. So you'll find out what happens later. Tell me what you thought of the introduction; leave suggestions, review and all that stuff. Now if you'll excuse me and this jar of nutella...
