Due to excessive amounts of homework, this story had to be kinda short. Stupid high school, always ruining everything ;)

He watched Rapunzel's green eyes grow bigger and bigger as she practically fell out of the boat to watch the floating lanterns. Her dream was coming true. After all their hard work and misadventures, the one thing she had been dreaming of for years was finally becoming an actuality. And he had helped. The gorgeous look on her face, made somehow even more beautiful by the soft light of the lanterns, had come from some effort of his own. Honestly, he might already consider it one of the proudest moments in his life. If he had been able to focus on anything other than her for the moment, he would have also realized that he had never actually seen someone's dream come true before and how good it made him feel when he helped other people achieve their greatest wishes. But Blondie just look too freakin' beautiful for him to care: her adorable nose, her slender body, her bare-footedness, the absolutely-out-of-this-world-crazy magical blonde hair, her freckles, her fingernails, her ears, her mouth, her hands, her arms, her legs, her cheeks, her forehead, her eyebrows, all of it. Hell, even her personality seemed beautiful to him. And a personality can't even be beautiful! It's an invisible entity used to describe the way someone acts! But he didn't care. Everything about this girl made him love her more.

Woah, wait, what?

Love? Flynn Rider didn't fall in love. Flynn Rider was the cunning thief, the wanted scoundrel. He ate alone, worked alone, lived alone. He started the whole "lone wolf" craze! Love was not something that Flynn Rider did.

He felt the boat shake a little.

Rapunzel had left her perch on the front of the boat and had sat in front of him. Coming out of his stupor for a moment, he handed her the lanterns that he had been hiding as a special surprise. Then, he watched her big green eyes sparkle and light up as they followed the lanterns drifting into the distance.

He felt his draw drop. The metaphorical ton of bricks had just fallen.

Flynn Rider was in love.

Flynn Rider was in love.

Flynn Rider was in love.

He looked at Rapunzel and saw her smiling back. A warmth spread inside him that traveled from the top of his head to the ends of his toes.

Flynn Rider was in love and Eugene Fitzherbert couldn't seem to care.
