And he stood on top of the mountain, the wind blowing softly, ruffling his hair and brushing his white cloak. Below him was a land lush with green and blue. The sky was filled with soft pink hues and lavender thrown in for good measure.
Moses took a last glance at the land he had laboriously brought God's people to. With the peace of mind that though he'd never step foot on it, he had at least seen the Promised Land his eyes twinkled happily. He smiled and leaned on his cane with his old age and drank in the scene. He then turned and walked slowly back and as he turned the corner his image seemed to shimmer, and then disappeared. That night the Israelites reached the Promised Land with much cheer, though their leader was no longer among them.
And as the people celebrated with joy, the stars above them seemed to glow more brightly then before.
