Author's Note: Hey guys. I'm a bit surprise that there had been some follows in my first one shot here. Thanks a lot guys. Well, here is another one that I've uploaded a month ago but I didn't see it posted in the story list. So, here I am putting it again. I hope you will read. Thanks guys.

Disclaimer: I don't own the characters.

Lucy knows something about Natsu that others fail to notice. She knows when he is actually thinking and not being impulsive. She notice when he fake his stupidity knowing everyone expects it from him. She can feel it if he is hiding something from her but she never mentioned it. And most of all she can see it if he is pretending to be someone he is not. She will overlook those things but not the latter one. He has to stop pretending and keep hurting himself. The only way is to tell him outright that he needs to stop pretending and now is the time.

"Natsu," Lucy said to catch his attention. "You can stop now."

"Stop what?" Natsu looked at her in confusion. "I'm not doing anything."

Lucy shook her head and then let out a sigh. There he goes again playing clueless.

"I know you don't really want to hang out here," Lucy diverted her eyes to her window. "You don't have to force yourself."

"What are you talking about Lucy?" Natsu let out a nervous laugh. "You are being weird."

"Being weird huh?" Lucy smiled sadly as her hair covered her eyes. "I'm not blind Natsu. I just pretend I don't see it or notice but I know."

"I don't get you Lucy," Natsu furrowed his brows.

"I'm saying is that you don't need to hang out in my apartment just because we are partners. You don't need to pretend you care more about me," Lucy swallowed. "You don't have to pretend that you like me more than her 'cause I already know."

"Lucy," Natsu attempted to stand up from the floor when Lucy looked at him with a sad smiling face.

"Go to her Natsu," Lucy let out her brightest smile she could master. "Don't let me drag you down on what you really want."

"Lucy," this time Natsu was on his feet and closed the distance between them. He hugged her and rubbed her back. "I will. Thank you Lucy."

Lucy could only nod in the embrace as she tried to stop her tears. This is for their own good.
