I do not own Sherlock Holmes or anyone really. Cheers to BBC and Sir Arthur Doyle. This fic is a work in progress...

In Japan, there is the belief that if you fold a thousand paper cranes you will receive good luck.

Molly POV

It's two A.M. and yet I am only now making it home. Of course, Sherlock Bloody Holmes would make me miss dinner and stay late for a case. If it wasn't for that gorgeous purple shirt then I would have told him no. Well, I would have tried anyway. Him with his stupid persistence that I'm the only one with half a brain in St. Barts and therefore must work with him. More like I am the only one willing to work with him at all in the morgue. Ugh, time for some crap telly on my lovely couch and a microwave meal.

2nd person POV

Doing so, she finally noticed the paper crane she found the night before and forgot to put it away. She had always been fascinated by origami but struggled with making anything. When she was a girl her father even told her that if she folded one thousand paper cranes then she will get one wish. When he got sick, Molly tried to fold all of the paper cranes she could in order for her wish to be his health. He died before she could finish and while in the morning she threw them all, except one, away. She saved one and placed it in her favorite childhood book about a boy who never grew up.

Last night, she was hit with the urge to reread the book and found the paper crane she forgot about. Forgetting all about her plan of food and telly, Molly Hooper decided she was about take up the quest of cranes once more. She had not finished her paper cranes when she was a girl, but with a new determination, she decided to wish that she would get over Sherlock Bloody Holmes. Using her laptop to order the paper, Molly decided to go to bed. Toby was not happy to lose his spot on Molly's bed.
