//Hello! It's Akane Yokutsu/Tamiko Minase here once again. Well I've been writing a lot and I love Okami so during math I came up with my first Okami fanfiction! Yay! I'm sorry if I suck, tell me how I should improve then, please? And sorry its so short, its almost 9:00 and its the last week of the first semester at my school and I REALLY need to bring my grade up and study, study, study.
Well hope you enjoy my first fanfic!
I HAVE NOT BEATEN OKAMI I JUST BEAT NINETAILS (ok about to) AND WILL SPOIL THE REST FO THE GAME USING FORUMS JUST TO WRITE THIS FANFICTION. IF I AM WRONG ABOUT SOMETHING I WILL TRY AND CATCH MY MISTAKES—BE HAPPY I'M DOING THIS (XD). K ENJOY.\\
A scream filled the dark void as well as the sound of rushing water. No stars had gazed upon the poor, old woman that night as she cried away to her death. Nor did anyone dare to help her—she was alone... in the darkest hell known to man kind. Crying. Dying. Screaming.
Prologue
Amaterasu let down the final strike on Ninetails—finally defeating the nine-tailed beast that ruled Oni Island and Ryoshima Coast. Ninetails fell to the ground a bloody mess from the destruction of her nine celestial tails ans scared from Amaterasu's sharp claws. She breathed her last breath on the very last moments of Oni Island's appearance at Watcher's Cape, Ryoshima Coast, leaving Okami Amaterasu and Issun the Wandering Artist victorious once again!
And just like always, the bloody, white, wolf let out her classic victory howl. But just then, they both felt the ground shift a bit—Oni Island was ready to move on to its next location and Otohime was struggling much to keep it in place. Just in time too, if it had been any sooner, not even the great Amaterasu would have been able to escape Oni Island while being chased and fighting such a demon as Ninetails (nor would it have been good to let her conquer another land). All was in right timing, and within minutes, Amaterasu and Issun made it out of Oni Island and across Otohime's back to Watcher's Cape safely.
But... as Otohime returned to her normal self, Issun had only just realized how much he values this great adventure with the sun goddess and he's almost seen all of the 13 brush techniques. There was only 1 technique left. Then... he'd have to leave his lovely companion behind. A frown creased across his face. But just as he was about to warn Amaterasu to not get so attached, he was interrupted by Amaterasu's sharp bark of thanks.
"Your welcome, Amaterasu. It was a great pleasure to help you and I would love to assist you more in any way that I can, but unfortunately I must return to the Dragon Palace." Otohime had finally spoken.
"It's ok, princess. I don't think even you can help us with the rest of our journey. Right, Ammy?" Issun responded with slight sadness stuck in his voice—then again when is he never sad when leaving a woman as beautiful as Otohime? And on top of that, his thoughts were still drained in the fear of leaving Amaterasu.
Otohime turned her back away with one last smile, "I hope we meet again, both of you. Ja na." then dived deep into the ocean and into Dragon Palace. Amaterasu and Issun watched as her figure faded in the water. It was finally time for their next adventure... just what might pop up next?
//Yeah sorry... the Prologue in my fanfictions are always so short.
