Disclaimer: I do NOT own Camp Rock or anything related to it. Except on of the copies of the DVD and a glass. =)

So, this is based off of a quote I found on Photobucket (which I don't own!!!). And I fell in love with it. It's first angsty fic I ever wrote, so don't be too hard on me please!
It's just that I've been into angsty one-shots lately. I don't know why actually. The weirdest thing is, I want to read character death fics. So I can have a good cry. I just feel like that lately. Don't know why. Maybe because of my horribe, non-existent love life. But I'll leave you to it. =)

Mitchie couldn't handle it anymore. She had fallen for Shane Gray, hard. The only thing was, when she was about to tell him he had some 'awesome' news himself.

He had a new girlfriend. He was ecstatic and Mitchie was the first one to know.

Since, you know, she was his best friend.

Best friend.

She hated that word when it was used in the same sentence with Shane and Mitchie.

Of course, this girlfriend of his had to be at the same school as her and Shane. Thank god that Caitlyn, Nate and Jason were there as well.

Everywhere she went she saw either Shane or her, or worse. She saw them together.

Each time she struggled to stay strong. Not let him know how much he hurt her by dating this girl.

Each time she passed them and Shane just had to say 'hi', she just faked a smile and greeted him back. Then she walked off as soon as she could.

-

Rounding the corner, she stopped in her tracks to see Shane and her standing there. Her being pressed against his locker and him kissing his way up from her neck to her lips again.

They hadn't noticed Mitchie yet. But Mitchie couldn't get away, even though she never in a million years wanted to see this. She was glued to her spot and couldn't move. When she heard their conversation, she could even hardly breathe. Mitchie's heart broke more as the conversation proceeded.

-

'I want to tell you something, and I really mean this.'

'Yeah Shane?'

'I.. I love you.'

The girl broke into a huge smile and pulled him into a very passionate kiss.

After she broke away, she said.

'I love you too.'

Shane had an enormous grin plastered on his face and turned his head, seeing Mitchie still standing there.

-

'Oh, hey Mitch!'

Here we go again. She put on a fake smile and greeted him back.

'Did you hear?' Shane asked Mitchie.

'No, what?'

Shane turned his head back to his girlfriend and said,

'She loves me' And if it was even possible, his grin got even wider.

-

That was it. She loves him. He loves her, not Mitchie.

Mitchie looked at the ground, the fake smile still present on her face. Pondering on what to do now. She made up her mind and looked back up again.

She finally gave up. She dropped the fake smile, as a tear ran down her cheek she whispered to herself, "I can't do this anymore."

She turned around and ran.
