A/N: written during a (very boring) Psychology class. And I even like Psychology… =P Well, the truth is I re-watched Conduit not that long ago and I felt an urgent need to write this. Hope you like it.

GONE
She was gone.
He could hear his mother cry. He could hear his father scream. The police officer kept on asking the same question.
Where is she?
He didn't know. Couldn't remember. All he wanted was to run to his mother's arms, to feel her holding him close, to hear his father telling him that it hadn't been his fault.
But his mother was still crying. His father was still screaming. No one noticed that she was gone but he was still in there.
In that night, all alone, Fox snuggled down in Samantha's bed and cried himself to sleep.
