You'd think the Underground wouldn't be kept informed of the Friendship Cup, but thanks to Tokumatsu's cronies, they had fixed up an old TV and even wired it up to play snippets of the matches when the guards weren't looking.

One particular snippet caught a certain dark-haired duelist's attention during Shinji Weber's and Sakaki Yuuya's duel. The sight of a cyan-haired boy among the Common ramparts, holding Hiiragi Yuzu's pink helmet. The first feeling that had washed over him was relief, the girl was probably safe somewhere. Probably. The second feeling was pure anger. That boy was the one that had killed his older brother, Hikage.

Clenching his fingers into a fist, Tsukikage grit his teeth and disappeared back into the shadows. The match would end soon and he was going to make another escape to the world above, just to find him. He wanted to know what happened to those who were turned into cards.

Tsukikage didn't know if he would get an answer, Sora was still technically his enemy. As he waited for the elevator in a nearby pile of rubbish, he heard a commotion from the others-

"That Yuuya kid was a Tops all along?!"

"Yuuya is not a Tops!"

"Ahhhhn? But you're in league with him too, aren't ya, you brat?!"-

and he mentally sighed. He had absolute faith in Akaba Reiji but these people were ridiculous and quick to turn on their backs on everyone who lost. The losers are thrown away indeed, he thought to himself as the elevator finally began to descend. Years of training allowed him to quietly sneak past the guards bringing Shinji Weber in (he paused only for a second to look at his former opponent with the barest hint of ironic amusement) and hide underneath the elevator car just like before to the top.

The sunlight was a welcome sight. Tsukikage relished in it for a few seconds before taking to the rooftops to begin his search for the Academia soldier. However he hadn't counted on Security being so tight around the Commons sector. A minor setback. Clicking his tongue, he crouched on one of the buildings, keeping an eye on them and for any sight of cyan hair.

On the distant Duel Track, he could barely make out the monsters battling out, but he was certain one of the duelists was Kurosaki. Silently wishing the Xyz duelist luck, he was finally rewarded with a sighting inside a building not too far from where he was. Without making a sound, Tsukikage followed Sora until he noticed to whom the kid was running towards.

Three children stood in front of Yuzu, arms held out as they blocked the path. In front of them stood a row of Security, Duel Disks out and leers on their faces. Had he had his Duel Disk, the ninja would have jumped in. All he could do at the moment was watch and observe as Yuzu and Sora formed an impromptu tag-team and trounced the enemy.

Once the battle was over, Sora used a spell card that would allow Yuzu and the children escape the area with him. Without thinking twice, Tsukikage took off after them and once they were a good distance a way, dropped down to stop them.

Yuzu gave a small gasp in recognition and called his name, but he didn't register it. No. His full attention was focused on Sora, who was returning his glare with equal intensity, Almost lazily, Sora unwrapped a new lollipop and stuck it into his mouth. "Yo, Ninja."

This wasn't the time nor the place but Tsukikage would be lying to himself if he didn't want to punch Sora in the face. "You and I have unfinished business, Shiu'nin Sora."
