Sora and Kairi stood in the Hollow bastion marketplace, which had been decorated for the dance in celebration of Sora's good deeds in saving the worlds.

The music started at a medium beat as people rush to the dance floor or the large buffet. Sora and Kairi walked slowly to the center of the dance floor and began to dance.
It was later in the evening when the music began to slow and only the couples were left on the dance floor. The evening sun, candles, and the fireworks gave the dance floor an orange light that would flash different colors at random times. Sora and Kairi began a slow waltz. Sora could not tell whether he was smiling or frowning, slow or fast, clumsy or elegant as all he could see was the deep happiness in Kairi's eyes. Sora and Kairi flowed across the dance floor with an unmatched elegance and were soon the only ones on the dance floor as others began to stop and watch. In perfect beat with the music Sora and Kairi slowed until they hardly moved and Sora dipped Kairi and went in for a kiss.
Kairi was shocked at this move, Kairi liked Sora but not that much! Kairi deliberately fell from Sora's hands and quickly got up and ran from the dance floor leaving Sora with only the memories of her flashing eyes and tint to her hair on that magical night. Sora's Heart broke. Sora's heart wasn't the only thing that had broken, his heart exited his body producing a heartless once again and his body broke away then both disappeared into the night as people stood in shock.
