Prologue
She rushed down the halls of Hollow Bastion, her blackish-red hair whipping behind her. Her large blue eyes glance back at the aslant of heartless coming. She skidded to a stop and looked over the edge of the platform. She looked back at the army, and then dove off the edge. She landed with a rolled and then tried to stand to find that she accidentally twist her leg wrong and was in pain. She winched as she looked up at the heartless that was crawling down the walls to get her. She glazed hopelessly around. She knew it was the end for her. She murmured, "Key blade master...where are you?" she curled up and closed her eyes, for now she was surrounded. They launched an attack and she could feel her heart fading into the darkness. Then she heard two voices, a male's and a female's.
"There's a girl in there!" yelled the female.
"Hurry, the heartless are stealing her heart!" the male said.
"I can see that, Leon!" the female called back.
"Whatever..." said the male.
The girl felt her heart coming back and passed out...
"Back so soon?" said Cid as Leon walked into the door to Merlin's shop.
"Yep and we have company. Where is Merlin and the others?" Leon said.
"Still out checking the city for heartless," Cid turning back to his computer. "Who's comin"?
"She is…" Leon said and pointed behind him, where Yuffie with the girl in her arms stood.
"Who is she?" Cid said turning back around and wiping his mouth.
"Don't know, but those heartless weren't going to leave her alone. I think she will be safe here." Yuffie said setting the girl down on the bed.
Aeris came through the door with Yuna, Rikku, and Paine flying behind her "I am back!" Aeris said cheerfully. Rikku sat down on Leon's head. "Whatca' lookin' at?" she piped up.
"Is that a girl?" Yuna said hovering over Yuffie.
"Yeah, who is she?" Aeris said joining them.
"This girl we found in the castle….she was attack by a large army of heartless…." Yuffie said shaking her head.
"Poor thing…." Aeris said shaking her head as well….
"Is she going to be alright?" Paine said landing next to the girl's head, Yuna and Rikku drifted down to her.
"Yeah, but, Leon, doesn't look like someone we know?" Yuffie said getting a better look at her.
"Yeah but who?" Leon said, and then it snapped into his head. "Get Sora, I think this has to do with him…."
