A/N: Hey everyone! Well, here's a one shot idea I had. The summary says it all! Please read and Review!! I love feedback! (as does everyone!) I hope this hasn't been done before but if it has then I apologise! J Oh.. I think I've done fairly bad characterisation here by the way. I'm sorry… I don't really have anything else to say right now… Well, I'll go then!
Enjoy!!

Jonathan sighed and gazed up into the night sky, watching as the stars seemed to compete with one another to shine the brightest. That was the one thing that got to him - competition was everything.
The Jocks back in SDH always competing for the best girl, the best bragging rights, the championships, everything. The girls - homecoming queen, best guy. Oh, not to mention Bitch of the Year award. Cordelia Chase always seemed one up on that. Even the nerds! What with the science fair and comic conventions.
Even now, in his own little Trio, he was constantly competing for his say. Even Andrew seemed higher up the food chain than he did! Jonathan snorted as the stars continued to twinkle. How did Warren establish a leader status in the group? It made no sense. All he had was a little bit of know how with computers. Big whoop!
"Better to know magic," Jonathan murmured quietly to himself and watched as the stars seemed to shine more fiercely in agreement. The chill in the air seemed to only make the stars shine that little bit brighter. He could feel the magic in the air, flowing everywhere. Even if he couldn't harness it, he could still sense it. He'd played around with enough magic to know how to do that.
He flexed his fingers and walked on, seemingly oblivious to everything but the stars. Machines are… nothing but stupid computers. But magic. It can change everything. In the blink of an eye and the whisper of a simple word it could change the world.
"I'll take magic over computers any day." He whispered. Where does Warren get off thinking he's the boss? I mean, we're not evil villains bent on taking over the world. We're normal kids. Tuck's brother lets Warren boss him around though. Maybe that's it… If Andrew stopped being such a pushover then maybe Warren'd stop running around like he owns the place.
As he glanced up at the sky, Jonathan saw a shooting star sail across the sky, making every other star in the sky seem insignificant. So what if they twinkled constantly? That one star saw its moment to seize all the attention, and it did, sailing across the sky. At least that star knew what it had to do. Then it all clicked for Jonathan.
He could shoot through the sky and steal everything he'd ever wanted. He knew how and no one would be able to stop him. He'd just have to find the right spell. He'd read it before somewhere. He was sick of the competition and now he could see the chance to end it.
He would become what everyone was competing to be - the best.
He'd be like Superman, like a shooting star.
He was going to become a Super Star.
