The Patakis: Episode Five
I don't really have an introduction but I want to point out that if you have any questions, feel free to ask me in the reviews. I am working really hard on figuring out how to do YouTube videos so hopefully if you have any questions about myself than PM me and I can answer them in that video or just PM you back. I even have a new OC to try to use in them. We shall see what happens. I have a lot of things in the works so I will inform you all when they are here. I pinkie promise! (:
I am now fully awake. I see a pink dress that I only wear when Olga comes and makes me dress up like some doll. I figure if I am going to try to do better, I could start dressing better. I am not going to wear dresses every day like I used to but it's the best thing I have right now. I will get new clothes soon. Maybe I can get some nice pants and nice pink shirts. I think this might help with "reforming" myself. I want to do better and I am seriously tired of having a life that sucks. I realize now that Arnold wouldn't want me to be down in the dumps like this.
"Miriam…I mean…mom… can we go shopping? I need some new clothes," I yell from upstairs. She yells back to me.
"Yes dear, we can go shopping. Why don't you bring your little friend…what was her name again…Phoebe! Yeah, bring her along also," She says. I now feel a pain in my gut.
I forgot about our sleepover! I was so tired last night that I forgot to call her. I will call her right now! I am grabbing the phone. I dial the numbers. I hear the ringing on the other end. I hear the phone pick up.
"Hello," I hear Phoebe say. I am relieved.
"Phoebe! I am so sorry that I forgot to call you last night and tell you to come over. I was really tired and I just forgot. I can make it up to you though! My mom is taking me shopping and she said I could bring you along. We can come back here afterword and have that sleepover. Is that ok?" I ask. I know she must be upset with me.
"Of course Helga, that sounds fun. Also, don't worry about the whole 'not calling me' thing. I understand completely. To tell you the truth, I was really tired to last night. Tonight would be much better. When should I come over?" She asks. I don't know so I should ask my mom.
"Hold on," I say. I bring the phone down. "Mom, when should Phoebe come over?" I ask. I am hearing my mom.
"She can come over right now if she wants!" She yells from downstairs. I am happy about that.
"She said you can come over right now," I say.
"Great, I will head over now. I already have my stuff packed so I can be there in about…fifteen minutes. Is that alright?" She is asking.
"Sure Phoebe. That sounds good. See you then?" I ask.
"Yes. Bye Helga," She says.
"Bye Phoebe," I say. I hang up the phone and start getting ready. I am making my bed when my mom comes in. "Hi mom," I say without looking up from what I'm doing.
"She's coming over right now?" Miriam asks. I nod my head. "Is she spending the night?" I nod at this also. "So…are we going to do makeovers and watch teen movies?" She is asking this a little too excitedly. I am trying to do better so…I guess I should throw her a bone.
"Sure Mom…if you want to," I say. She is jumping up and down and squealing. I roll my eyes but smile also. She is hugging me now and I hug her back a little. She walks out, probably going to make popcorn. I think this is going to be one of the best sleepovers I have had in a long time.
To clear things up, it is Saturday morning right now in the story and Phoebe is coming over to have a sleepover and Helga is "Reforming herself." I promise it won't be boring. She is just going to try to do better in school and hang out with her mom more, sense she is trying to not drink so much, Helga is supporting it. That is what you need to know for the rest of the whole series. Her mom going to AA meetings is important information. (:
