"Okay, so let me explain this for those of you who don't know how to play this game. Rebekah will go first, since it was her idea to play "Truth or Dare". She will ask someone "Truth or Dare" and that person has to choose between having to answer a question honestly, or doing something that Rebekah wants them to do. If you pick truth, she can ask you any question she wants and you have to answer it honestly. If you pick dare, then she can dare you to do anything she wants, and you are obligated to do it. After the person does their truth or dare of Rebekah's choosing, it will be their turn to pick someone and ask them "Truth or Dare". Got it?" Caroline hadn't taken a breath once during her explanation, so as soon as the last word tumbled out of her mouth, she took a deep breath. She was so excited, she was shaking. If there was one thing that Caroline Forbes liked (other than cheesy romance movies) it was games.

A chorus of "yeah"s sounded from the group of people gathered in the Mikaelson house in response to Caroline's question. It seemed other than Caroline and Rebekah, no one else could give a damn about this game, or how it was played. Elena, Caroline, Bonnie, Rebekah, Elijah, Kol, Klaus, Damon, and Stefan were all in the middle of the Mikaelson's gigantic living room, and by gigantic, I mean huge. The size of Caroline's entire house. There were hardly any furnishings, just a couch, a recliner, and a desk pushed into a dark corner. Rebekah decided that since they were a big group of people, they would need a lot of space to do dares and stuff. The other reason that she found the room convenient is that there isn't much of anything to break in here.

Rebekah woke up one morning and decided that in order for her and her family to truly fit in with the rest of Mystic Falls, she and her family had to bond with Elena and her friends. Rebekah immediately looked online for ideas (Rebekah didn't want to do just anything to bond with Elena's gang, she wanted to do something fun, something that will show them that she could be a normal teenage girl) and after a few minutes of searching, she finally came up with the idea of truth or dare. Rebekah needed some help with planning everything, and eventually decided to ask Caroline for help.

Unfortunately, no one else shared the same enthusiasm that was radiating off of the blondes in waves. Do they honestly expect a group of vampires (and a witch) to be happy wasting their time playing "Truth or Dare" with each other when they could be doing something productive? Damon, Elijah, Kol, Stefan, and Klaus were perfectly fine not all being friends, and had no reason to want to bond. Elena and Bonnie would much rather be having the sleepover together that they had to cancel due to Caroline's need to bond with the Originals. But, for some reason, everyone agreed to come. Bonnie and Elena came to support Caroline and at least try to be on good terms with the Original family, Elijah and Kol came for Rebekah, Klaus came for Caroline (not that he would ever admit it), and the Salvatore brothers came for Elena.

No matter who they came for, they were all sitting in a circle in the middle of a nearly empty living room, drinking alcohol, and trying to save this night from becoming too awkward between everyone, and failing. Caroline's explanation was not in the least bit helpful, considering Caroline and Rebekah had already asked everyone to look up the instructions online and memorize every word, like the control freaks that they are. This night was already off to a bad start, and they hadn't even stared playing the stupid game.

Rebekah decided to break the silence that followed after Caroline's instruction by taking advantage of the fact that she get's to ask "Truth or Dare?" first.

"Elijah, truth or dare?" Rebekah turned her head toward him, awaiting his answer.

"Truth, my dear sister." Elijah would never admit it, but under all of his sexiness and intimidating attitude, he was honestly kind of afraid of his sister, and what she would make him do if he actually picked the option to do a dare.

"Who in this room do you like the most?" Rebekah asked, smiling gently.

Elijah gave a small cough. "Um… What do you mean by "like"?" He glared at his sister accusingly. He specifically told her to not bring his love life into this game, he even threatened daggering her if she went against him. Why is she doing this?

Rebekah placed her hand in front of her mouth, giggling hard. "Oh, you know I didn't mean that kind of like. I meant as a person, who do you like best as a person, not a lover!" She still couldn't seem to contain her giggles, even though everyone else were looking at her as though she were crazy for finding this the least bit amusing.

Elijah, however, was satisfied in her explanation, taking a drink from a beer bottle that was conveniently placed behind him. His eyes moved around the circle, first to Kol who was on his right side, then to Bonnie who was on Kol's right side. Elijah took in everyone in the circle of people counterclockwise, mentally adding up things he liked and/or disliked in each person as his eyes met theirs. Next to Bonnie was Elena, then there was Stefan, then Damon, then Caroline, then Klaus, then Rebekah, who happened to be on Elijah's left side. He thought really hard, not wanting to offend anyone in the group, but knowing exactly who he liked best.

How much do you guys wanna bet that it's me? I mean, there's no way it can't be, I'm way too gorgeous for him not to." Kol spoke out, flipping his hair dramatically.

Elijah had to shake away the sudden need to face-palm, sighing and correcting his brother. "Well, you would unfortunately lose that bet, Kol, considering that the person I like best here is Elena." Elijah planted his eyes on Elena, waiting for her reaction. Kol gave fake pout while everyone except for Elena (who was too busy trying to hide her deep red blush) laughed at him.

Elena's attempts to hide were futile, considering Elijah's eyes never left her face. Elena made the mistake of looking up, because the second she did, her eyes locked with his. Her breath caught in her throat as she looked into his eyes, and she froze, staring into his deep dark eyes. It wasn't just the romantic tension that kept her staring, it was the way he was looking at her. It was the same way that her dad looked at her mother, and Elena found herself thinking that Caroline was right, it was kind of flattering the way a man looked at her, but it was also disappointing because it made her feel like he was expecting her to run into his arms and kiss him. She couldn't do that, not while she was with Damon. She found herself blushing more as she felt butterflies fly freely in her stomach. She quickly looked down, desperate to break the heated tension.

What the hell is wrong with you? Elena's mind screamed at her. You just broke up with Stefan, and you just got together with Damon. Now you're into Elijah just because he thinks that you're a pleasant person? How slutty can you get? Elena closed her eyes, feeling the shame wash over her like a waterfall. I promise that I love Damon, and I will try my hardest to resist the affections I may or may not be feeling for Elijah. Elena thought to herself, trying to fix things. Elena didn't mean to be a slut, but sometimes she can't help but feel like she is. She slept with Stefan within the first ten days she was dating him. Hell, she slept with Damon before they were even together. Elena is the definition of slut, and she can't change that no matter how hard she tries, and it's so frustrating.

"I feel so cheated!" Elena's mental war was rudely interrupted by Klaus's sarcastic voice. "You pick the little doppelganger over your favorite brother." A pout showed on Klaus's face, a similar pout to the one Kol was wearing earlier.

Elijah rolled his eyes, "I think you'll live.", He told his younger brother. "There's no need to die over something this foolish."

As soon as Elijah finished his sentence, Rebekah shot him a cold glare that said, "This is not foolish, this is fun", and he just waved her off, not in the mood for her childishness.

"Damon, truth or dare?" Elijah said instead, watching the man with an expressionless face.

Damon looked up to meet Elijah's eyes and smirked, knowing which one he was going to pick. If you're going to get a dare from an Original, DON'T choose the smart one.

"I'm going to pick truth this time around, but you better make it good." Damon pretended to study his nails. "I don't have all night."

Elijah nodded, not moving his eyes from the elder Salvatore. "Which woman in this circle of people do you find most attractive, excluding Elena?"

Damon leaned back, weighing his options. He wasn't a dumbass, he knew Elijah wanted him to move on off of Elena, but he wasn't going to do that. Elena was the love of his life. Stefan may have other ladies he wants to be with in the future, and so does Elijah, but if Damon loses Elena, he has no one. There will never be anyone else for him, and the sooner everyone realizes that, the better. But this was just a game, and appreciating another female's beauty isn't a crime. Is it? He looked over at Elena, who smiled at him weakly. Would she be fine with this? As if she could read his thought, the beautiful brunette nodded, and her smile became more encouraging.

For the first time tonight, Damon was able to acknowledge that there were other females in the room other than his precious Elena. He looked over to Bonnie, finally seeing her feminine smile as she whispered to Kol some words he would rather not hear. He looked over to Rebekah, finally noticing the fact that her body had curves, and wasn't as straight as a board. Finally, he glanced over at Caroline, noticing for the first time that she had better breasts than he originally thought. Wow, Damon thought to himself, this is sure a hard decision when I finally notice how sexy they are. He knew who he would pick in his mind, but then the two other girls invaded his thoughts again and he just couldn't squash them out.

"Tick tock." Elijah taunted, breaking Damon of his train of thought.

If Elijah weren't an Original, Damon would have murdered him by now. He clenched his teeth, but answered the question. "Caroline. She has a beautiful and unique face. Not to mention a killer body." That seemed to have awakened Klaus from his obvious boredom as he gave Damon the worst death glare he had ever given anyone.

Klaus wasn't the only one displeased by the eldest Salvatore's answer. Rebekah looked so mad, Damon could just imagine smoke coming out of her ears. "What about me?! Don't I have a killer body, Damon? Aren't I beautiful and unique?!" She looked like she might explode at any second.

Klaus couldn't help but face-palm. Why does his sister find the need to ruin everything? If she continues to be rude, Caroline will leave, and if Caroline leaves, he has no chance with her. He needed to fix this. Now.

"Shut up Bekah, you don't want to damage your vocal chords, do you?" He turned toward her, trying to reason with her.

Rebekah turned to face him, fire still burning in her beautiful blue eyes. "But I'm way hotter than Caroline, and he refuses to admit it!" The youngest Mikaelson crossed her arms over her chest.

Klaus sighed. I guess i have to bribe her. He saw Caroline rocking back and forth softly, eyeing the door carefully. She knotted her hands together, biting her lip. She's so cute and sexy when she bites her lip… Klaus felt some drool fill his mouth before he mentally slapped himself. Stop it! Get Rebekah to behave, then you can drool over Caroline!, His mind screamed at him.

"Rebekah, be a good girl and I'll buy you a pony." Klaus offered.

Rebekah's eyes lit up faster than a Christmas tree. "Any pony I want?" She asked excitedly.

Klaus sighed, rubbing his temples. With his luck, she'd probably want a pony from England, and he didn't really want to travel…. But he'd do anything for a chance with Caroline. "Any pony you want." He knew he would regret it later, but right now, he was blinded by Caroline.

Rebekah beamed and pretended to zip her lips and lock it with a key. She handed the imaginary key to Klaus, smiling gently. "Thank you." Klaus grumbled.

"Now that Rebekah's not screaming at me anymore, I believe it's my turn now." Damon drew the attention back to himself. "And I know exactly who I'm going to ask.

Everybody looked down, not wanting to make eye contact with him. Damon can be super scary when it comes to things like this, things that involve a lot of people he doesn't necessarily like. Elena is the only one brave enough to look into his eyes. She takes his hand, squeezing it gently.

Damon finally lets the words that he's been holding in spill out of his mouth. "Caroline, truth or dare?"
