Prologue
"Minako Aino?"
"Here!"
"Serenity Tsukino?"
"Present!"
"Alright. That's it for roll call."
"Serenity, let me do your makeup," someone said.
"All right Minako," Serenity complied. She sat down in front of her friend. Everyone knew Minako was the best at doing makeup, and Serenity was Minako's best 'subject'.
"Hey Serenity, did you get that picture of Mamoru-san yet?" Minako asked.
"Not yet," Serenity replied, "but I'll try and get it by Scranton."
"Okay. Just hurry up. I'm graduating this year and I need that picture for…blackmail!" Minako exclaimed.
"Oh boy," Serenity sighed. She sat back in her seat on the bus and closed her eyes. It was a highly frustrating year for her; a freshman, and Minako decided to put young Serenity on a chase for Chiba Mamoru's picture to use for some crazy something that she didn't know what it was for. But because she was afraid for the Tenth Street District High School's safety, she knew she would do anything to comply. She knew something was coming, but she didn't know what…
"Yo sleepyhead! Wake up!"
Serenity slowly opened her eyes to the banging of Minako's fist against her skull, moaned, and sat up. "Nnn… What do you want Minako?"
"Ehem, well, ex-CUSE me your highness, but we're almost there, so I figured I'd wake you up and tell you to get dressed," she exclaimed.
Serenity looked up at her in wonder. "I really slept that long?"
"Yes you did, now get up and start getting dressed."
Serenity grabbed her green garment bag and got out her guard uniform. She really didn't like it, not because it wasn't beautiful, it was, but it reminded her of a dress she seemed to remember wearing. It a white dress with gold embroidering and puffy sleeves. The good thing was, however, that everyone said she looked the best in it. As if she was innocent and pristine.
She quickly got dressed, put on her guard shoes (which I believe are beige ballet slippers or something close to that), and had Minako do her make-up.
