Summary: Written for comment-fic. Prompt: Thor & the team, He takes extremely well to traditional Midgardian holidays.
AN: I wrote this a while back. I'm posting it today because it's finally the right season.
How the God Stole Christmas
"Ho. Ho ho ho ho," Thor bellows. "Ho."
The team exchanges wary glances at the sight of the very tall, very red, very...bearded thunder god.
Then they glare at Tony, who looks very pleased with himself.
"Thor," Steve says, "It's not Christmas for another couple of weeks. You know that, right?"
"But traditionally," Thor says, setting his sack of toys down, "there are twelve days of this delightful holiday, are there not?" He looks around for confirmation.
"Well, yes," Bruce says, "Traditionally, twelve days beginning on Christmas Day, although these days, Christmas may be considered celebrated one day or for the three months preceding it."
The team glares at Bruce, who clears his throat and waves a hand vaguely. "Holiday sales."
Thor cocks his head, not very unlike a curious, overgrown puppy, and says, "Dr. Banner, you must be the Grinch," all with a proud grin at his conquering of Midgardian winter traditions.
Happy Holidays, everyone!
