A/N: So when I worte another story for Peeta's POV in something that happend in THG I was told I should do more things like this...So I did :D It's very short, yes I know. It's the conversation Peeta and Haymitch couldve had at breakfast the morning of the interviews before Haymitch told Katniss they'd be training solo. So here goes nothin'!

I wake up early this morning. Tomorrow night is our "big interviews" which means more special training with the lovable Haymitch and Effie. How much fun. It also means we're that much closer to the real games.

At this point, I was hoping to maybe atleast know Katniss a bit better, but so far, no luck.

I head down to breakfast after taking a quick shower. I'm not expecting to see anyone there yet so seeing Haymitch is a surprise. There's silence for a good ten minutes and all you can hear is the chewing of food since most people aren't here yet. Haymitch isn't one for small talk though and gets straight to the point.

"Look kid. As you know, interviews are coming up. Tell me anything that we could use to make you look good for sponsers. These dimwits are suckers for a sobstory, so keep that in mind."

This makes me think. Dare I tell him about my feelings for Katniss? I don't see how that could really help but you never know. I guess I could tell him I really only want Katniss to survive over me. Plus, then he'll know to focus on Katniss in the games.

I keep pondering on what I should do. It doesn't help that his gray seam eyes stare right into my deep blue merchant eyes. Though I realize my answer is needed quickly.

I'm hesitant but I spill anyway. I tell him everything. From the time I first saw her on the first day of school, the time I gave her the bread when she was starving and digging through the bakery trashcans, and all my feelings the morning of the reaping. It takes him a few minutes to respond to my confession.

"Hmm, the star crossed lovers from District Twelve," Haymitch says with a smirk.

"More like a one-sided love story," I reply back.

That's when I notice the cafeteria is starting to fill up and Effie's making her way torwards Haymitch and me.

"Katniss should be here soon! I just got done with waking her up!" exclaims Effie in that annoying capitol accent. Haymitch then fills her in on everything I just told him.

I can see Katniss coming in from the corner of my eye so the three of us lean in for a few final words.

"Look,"starts Haymitch,"we'll talk about this later on how we'll work this whole thing out. For starters, we're going to be training seperately now. I'll tell the girl. She should know nothing about this conversation."

I sigh. "Fine, whatever you say."

I instantly wonder what I've just gotten myself into.

A/N: I think it turned out okay. Anyway, you know the drill. Review please!
