Love potion #? After crashing into a perfume stand, everyone is suddenly
being unusually nice to Jane, even Gunther. One shot romance/humor.
Jane ran through the marketplace, jumping over a barrel as the thief in front of her rolled it over.
"Stop you!" She yelled through breaths, when he didn't slow, she decided to do something desperate; she tackled him from behind, sending them both falling into a perfume stand. She apologized even as she pulled herself up, taking the rope tied at her waist; she tied the thief's feet together so that he would not be able to run again.
"Mercy my lady," He said, tears coming down his face, "Please grant me mercy. Don't take me in; they're going to hang me for this!"
"You should have thought of that before you decided to rob these good people. Now get moving."
It took forever to get back to the castle, and by the time they were there, the perfume was starting to reek something awful.
"I see you managed to catch the thief Jane."
Jane groaned at the sight of Gunther standing at the castle gate. "As you might have had you given chase."
"And end up looking like you, I don't think so." He smiled as he took the prisoner from her, "I'll take him from here, you'd better go bathe, you wouldn't want to go before the king smelling like that."
She glared at him again, knowing that he would claim their prisoner as his own, but as he had pointed out even she could smell the odor from the numerous perfumes, and decided that a bath was definitely in order. As she passed through the courtyard, she waved at Jester, Smithy, and Dragon whom were engaged in a game of bandyball, and then went to her room, never knowing the smell from the perfumes was wafting through the air.
