RWBY: ARKOS SCRIPT

this is a script for a short film I'm working on with some of my friends who cosplay RWBY. there will be feels, there will be action, and there will be Arkos! this is my first time sharing any of my work. this was inspired by a game of Super Smash Bros Brawl with a friend.

Scene one (EXT) forest.

Scene opens with Jaune Arc running through the forest from a mysterious pursuer who is hunting him. Jaune turns left in attempt to confuse the pursuer eventually coming to a cliff wall. In a last line of defense Jaune draws his sword only to be speared to the wall by his hood dropping his sword in the process leaving him unarmed and stuck to the wall looking in fear as a silhouette descends from a tree and start walking towards him while a familiar voice says "tisk tisk tisk, you're not getting away this time Jaune".

(INT) Team JNPR dorm.

Scene jump cuts to Jaune bolting up, sweat dripping from his face while panting. Looking around Jaune sees Lie Ren, Nora Valkyrie, and his partner Pyrrha Nikos all sleeping in their dorm. Jaune proceeds to crawl out of bed and sneak to the bathroom. Once in the bathroom Jaune washes the sweat off his face. Jaune turns around to see Pyrrha standing at the door scaring him, Jaune falls down to find Pyrrha helping him up.

Pyrrha: "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to startle you!"

Jaune: "It's okay Pyrrha."

Jaune looks at the floor nervously, avoiding eye contact.

Pyrrha: "is everything alright? I heard you leave the dorm and I was worried something was wrong."

Jaune: "It's nothing. Just a nightmare." Jaune leaves and crawls back into bed closing his eyes.

The next morning teams RWBY and JNPR are eating breakfast in the cafeteria at Beacon. (INT)

Ruby: "so Jaune, is everything alright?"

Jaune: "huh? Yeah … I'm alright, everything is fine." Jaune holds up a hand giving a thumbs up.

Ruby: "well, you seem a bit spaced out."

Jaune: "me spaced out? Nah I'm just a little tired, that's all."

Pyrrha: "are you sure everything is alright?"

Jaune: "really, I'm just tired. It's not a big deal."

Beacon training room (INT)

Scene changes to a combat training class where Jaune is fighting Pyrrha.

Jaune: (draws his sword and wields it in both hands) "you are going to go easy on me, right?"

Pyrrha: (innocently) "we'll see."

Jaune groans as he gets into a combat stance. Pyrrha does the same with her sword drawn.

Beacon cafeteria (INT)

With team RWBY and JNPR

Jaune is toying with his food while Yang is listening to Nora tells a story.

Nora: "And that's how Ren and I killed the horde of Ursi

Ren: "Nora there were only five Belwolves and an Ursa … And you rode in on it."

Yang: "so that's where the Ursa came from."

Nora: (pouting a little) "it broke."

Pyrrha: (looks at Jaune) "Jaune, is everything alright?"

Jaune: (who snaps out of his trance) "wha- me? Oh, I'm fine, just (beat) not really that hungry is all."

Ruby: "you sure?"

Jaune: "honestly, I'm fine."

Yang: (devious grin) "don't you mean Jaune'estly? Eh?" (pokes one of the people beside her.
