It was a sad day for Kari Kamiya,one who was usually so cheerful. She had just found
oun that T.K. the boy she loved with all her heart and just found a girlfriend. Every other girl
that was more popular than her was always putting her down and the only one that cheered her
up was T.K. but now he was gone forever. Oh sure there was Davis but she was getting sick of the
she's my girl thing. She sighed and continued walking to school.
In school, Kari sat in an empty table eating lunch she saw T.K. and her girlfriend talking
probably asking her to the prom coming up. Suddenly someone came up to her and asked,"May
I sit here?" "Sure," she replied and looked up to see who it is "Ken,"she said,"Its you." "Why are
you sitting all alone don't you have friends to be with?"he asked. "None of my friends are here
everyone is asking someone to the prom and no girl would let me sit with them because I'm so
unpopular." "Man look who woke up on the wrong side of the bed I bet your just mad because
you found out that T.K. had a girlfriend.Anyways I have to go now see ya later."
When she opened her locker she saw a note there and read it,"What's the matter
feeling down? Well I can take you on a ride through the town. You know me like the back of your
shoe so I'm going to tell you. If you don't have a date then I'll be here to rise you from your fate."
From:A Secret Admirer. Kari couldn't beliebe that some one actually liked her.
After school Ken walked up to her and said,"Hey Kari can I walk with you?" "Sure she
replied,"By the way Ken do you have a date to the prom?" Ken's conscience suddenly kicked up
say yes or she'll think that your a geek."Uh yes I do you?"No she replied with a sigh Oh well I
have to leave now bye."
The next day, Kari went to her locker and again she saw a note it said,"Dear Kari, if you
still don't have a date then meet me after school in the park." All day the teacher was giving
boring lectures and stuff but she only wanted to know who the secret admirer was."
After school, Kari reached the park and saw someone behind her come up and say"So
Kari I didn't actually think you would come." Kari jumped back and saw who it was,"Ken,she said
I thought you already had a date?" "Nope I lied,he said so will you go with me to the dance?"
"Yes,of course I will I was been waiting a long time for someone to ask me that,"she said while
leaving.
The hour before the dance Kari was getting ready when Tai came and said,"Hey Kari
you look great who's the lucky guy I thought you said you didn't have a date." "I do, she replied
but he is a secret you'll find out when he comes."
An hour later the door bell rang,Tai came in rushing to find out who it was but his
smile turned to a frown when he saw who it was,"Ken what are you doing here?" He was about
to punch him when Kari stopped him and said,"Tai stop he has changed you have to learn to
forgive now if you want to know I have to leave now."
When they reached to the prom many of the girls that tried to ask Ken out opened
their mouthes in shock as she saw Ken with Kari Kamiya. They both danced and became prom
king and queen. After the dance Ken was about to drop her home when he stopped and
said,"Kari I have something to tell you,I love you" Kari also said,"I love you too." They said while
kissing.
