Circle of Omnipotence

Day 1: Part 1

The brightest star within the night sky shines brilliantly over Station Square, glistening off of the windows of the building caught in its rays. No clouds were in the sky, just clear dark sky with a bone chilling breeze. Tonight was the day of the Station Square Anniversary Festival that all the important people were to attend regardless of age, race, or in an odd case species. On this cold night people were all huddled together seeking warmth as they awaited for the festivities to start. Those who had gotten there early were rewarded with front row spots to see the whole spectacle to soon take place.

Within the heart of the city children could be heard in the local park down Mulberry Circuit. One voice seemed to out volume the others significantly and sounded rather cheerful in the process..

"Sonic... Oh Sonic... Where are you? It's me Amy! You're going to be late if you don't get a move on"

As Sonic peered down upon Amy from his seat on a branch in a rather tall oak he began to sigh out in minor depression of Amy's sudden arrival. "Late for what exactly?"

"How could you forget? You have to go to the ceremony, everyone's expecting you?"

Sonic jumped down from his perch slowly beginning to make his way toward Amy. As he made it to her side he coiled his left arm around her. "Well you do know that it can be just the two of us tonight. Together" He paused a moment. "You know like a . . . Date."

"OH You mean it Sonic!? Oh I just knew you'd come around eventually!" At this point Amy's cheeks were full of the utmost joy and happiness. "So where is it? A nice restaurant?"

"Nope"

"The Pier?"

Sonic began to reminisce on bad experiences with water. "Nah… too much water there.."

"Oh I know you are taking me to Twinkle Park aren't you"

"Nope, we are going to the Festival with Knuckles and Tails."

Amy became slightly upset and furious at this point. "HEY YOU SAID JUST THE TWO OF US!"

"Well it is Amy just the two of us and two friends" Sonic some how got a kick out of twisting Amy's mind as of late. And with that smart comment Sonic was off full speed toward the festival. He was out of Amy's site before she could even comment back.

"Oh that Sonic." Amy sighed somewhat as she clenched her fists.

As Sonic darted toward the stage he noticed a large "All U Can Eat Chili Dogs 4 FREE " sign. In a heartbeat Sonic was already sitting at the table.

"On the house special! 50 Chili dogs!" With hearing that Sonic had the biggest grin he had ever gleaming upon his features.

A slender man who they call Willie approached Sonic as he'd just drop the plate of Chili dogs in front of Sonic.

Sonic began to stuff his face full of the chili dogs. Chili would be flying in every direction. Willie soon realized there was no point in pleading with Sonic so he let him be with the chili dogs. The people enjoying they're meals would turn to look at Sonic's bad eating habits. Most were quite stunned at the behavior of their common hero. When Sonic finished inhaling them he'd turn around to look at his audience with chili all over his lips. "Uhm . . . What are you all looking at"

People began to somewhat twitch at the spectacle the had just witnessed. The crowd was now completely speechless. Sonic then turned his head toward the clock mounted above his table now noticing that it was only 30 minutes until it was time for him to be on the podium..
