Prompt: I'm an addict for dramatics, I confuse the two for love
Stefan was greeted by Katherine when he walked into his bedroom. He wasn't all that surprised. He was getting used to her antics, actually. So walking into his bedroom to see her on his bed in lacy black lingerie wasn't all that surprising.
"Hello Stefan," she smirked.
"Katherine," he acknowledged as he unpacked his book bag at his desk.
"Still doing the schoolboy thing, I see," the older vampire stated.
"It's a good way to protect Elena." Stefan crossed his arms and leaned against his desk.
"And heaven forbid anyone forget about Elena."
"Bitter, Katherine?"
"Of course not. But you are wasting your time with her."
Stefan sighed. "How so?"
"You're 150, Stefan. She'll never understand what it's like to watch time pass you by while you stand still."
"Really? You're going to give me an anti-human/vampire relationship speech? Of all people?"
"I had specific intentions with you and Damon. It was always the plan to turn you." Stefan remained silent. Katherine got up from the bed and walked towards him. "She won't turn, you know. She likes her humanity."
"I know."
Katherine began to play with the collar of his shirt. "So why not ditch the doomed relationship and come back to someone who knows you? Someone who loves you?" That familiar mischievous grin returned to her face as she pressed her body against Stefan's.
"Well I would, but we both know you'd be bored as soon as I did. If there is anything that I have managed to learn about you over all this time Katherine, it's that the only thing you're in love with is dramatics."
"However," Damon appeared in Stefan's doorway, "most girls just watch bad reality television to fill their dramatic needs."
"Knocking, Damon?" Katherine said.
"Well I thought I'd follow your example and just rudely barge in uninvited," Damon moved his attention to Stefan. "Alaric called. We've gotta go."
Stefan grabbed his jacket and left without a word to Katherine. "I think there's a Real Housewives marathon on Bravo if you're bored," Damon smirked before leaving her alone once again.
