After writing about Joey, I realize how much I miss my grumpy CEO Seto and writing Blueshipping. I was re-reading this story and I wanted to fix it up and continue it since 1. I love Blueshipping, and 2. Writing Seto is very fun and cathartic:)

But the only thing I can think of is a story of our grumpy CEO meeting the white-haired girl again two months later after encountering at a party and having some mishaps together, from the awkwardness, fights and love.

Enjoy:)

The ticking of the clock on the wall was the only sound in the silent office that was filled with a arduous aura.

Seto was glaring at the door as if he were attempting to freeze it, his broad hands gripping each other tightly as he tried to contain his anger in front of his face as he had his elbows on his desk, slightly wrinkling is white business suit. Seto Kaiba, CEO of Kaibacorp, was starting to get impatient and it was not a good combination with reason for being furious.

While Seto can come off as cold hearted and selfish, he can be a fair man. He would often give the benefit of the doubt to most of his employee's if circumstances arise, whether from why they can't come to work due to issues in their personal life or why certain projects were late, in those cases he can accept their mistakes and can be sympathetic and cut them some slack. Most days he likes to think of himself as not only a great duelist, but as a great CEO who can be an understanding man to his employee's from time to time.

That day was not today.

The door opened and a woman came in. She was in her mid-twenties, had sandy colored hair up in a neat bun with two pieces of hair framing her face, dark green eyes that had a tint of purple eye shadow on them, with a light complexion and wore red lipstick and wore a dark grey pencil skirt that hugged her body. The woman is Claire Dimitri, Seto's secretary who had been working for him since Gozaburo Kaiba died almost five years ago.

"You wanted to see me, Mr. Kaiba?" she asked her boss.

"Yes...and don't sit down, you won't be here long." Seto said in a low voice, with a hint of irritation in it.

His secretary blinked, "Beg your pardon?" she asked, uncertain about her boss's strange mood.

Seto stood up from his desk, he walked towards the window with his hands behind his back, not making any eye contact with her. Claire looked at Seto's back as he spoke.

"Miss Dimitri, do you know why I called you up in my office?" Seto asked her.

Claire began to feel a foreboding aura in the air, as she heard his tone getting harsher,"Uh, you said it was something important right?" she answered.

"Correct. Well last week I signed some documents to other businesses, both locally and some in America, the Philippines and France to give them consent to sell my duel disk products in their shops, in exchange my company gets fifty percent cuts from those shops for providing them with my duel disks. Do you remember that day when you received documents on your desk?" Seto asked.

Claire was confused, "Umm...actually I don't recall that, Mr. Kaiba." she answered.

Seto turned around and glared, "...Well that would explain everything, considering Roland gave you the documents to fax them to the business owners to give the go ahead. But for some reason they weren't faxed and therefore those businesses were unable to get my duel disks and they could't sell them. Care to explain how that happened and why you don't remember?"

"Huh? Mr. Kaiba what are you talking about!? I don't remember receiving any documents what so ever, I don't understand how this has anything to do with me?" Claire demanded.

Her true nature was showing, and it was making Seto's blood pressure rise as he heard the sudden arrogance in Claire's tone.

Today Seto saw on his business charts that sales on his duel disks were going down. He found that shocking because he signed papers to make the duel disk sales official a week ago to other stores that would sell his product, in both the country and outside the continent, but today he got calls from the store owners and they told him that they didn't get documents with his signature on it to make it official to sell his duel disks at their businesses. So because of that they couldn't get the duel disks, and even if they did they wouldn't be able to sell them without risking committing plagiarism against Seto since duel disks were his invention and selling his product without legal documentation would put their businesses in jeopardy.

Needless to say, Seto was beyond angry.

He didn't understand why they didn't get the documents when he deliberately told Roland to deliver the papers to Claire to fax them. But from what Roland told him Claire was on her cellphone when he delivered the papers to her that day. It made Seto put two and two together and realized she probably didn't pay attention to what the papers were, and much to his horror one of his other employee's told Roland today that last week she saw Claire shredding papers at the shredding machine before she left for lunch. Including ones that were on her desk.

Seto put everything together and felt like he was about to have an aneurysum.

Seto gave her an ice cold look, "Roland gave you documents last week to fax, and if my memory is correct, which it always is, he told you what those documents were and that you were to fax them. Of course he also told me you were on your cellphone at the time, so that gives me a clear image as to how that day transpired and why I'm losing money, would you care to explain yourself as to why that happened and why we're now looking like fools to the public?"

Claire, once defensive, started to remember, she became horrified as she remembered the papers she shredded and what she didn't pay attention to,"Oh that! Mr. Kaiba I can explain everything! That day I was on the phone with my boyfriend and he told me there was an emergency at home and-"

"Spare me, unless there was a real emergency like the death of a family member or someone is in the hospital, there was no reason for you to be on your phone as Kaibacorp employment rules clearly state that cellphones are forbidden during work hours. And Roland told me that you were fighting with your boyfriend over the phone about the carpeting and what color it should be in your house, a conversation that could have waited at lunch hours when you were supposed to do something more important, working for me." Seto said irritably.

"Mr. Kaiba-" Clare tried to speak.

Seto cuts her off,"I'm running a company, miss Dimitri, and because of your negligence on those documents, with the fact that you also shredded them as the cherry on top, I lost almost millions on this. The businesses that were supposed to sell my products didn't get the documents you were supposed to fax to them, and because of that not only couldn't they get the duel disks, but because they don't have documentation to prove I gave consent to them to sell the duel disks at their stores they won't be able to, making their businesses suffer more than Kaibacorp is now, thanks to you."

Claire, now realizing the damage caused, tried to think of a reasonable solution before things got out of hand,"But Mr. Kaiba! Surly you could talk to them so others would know they have your permission to sell the duel disks! and you could probably still get the profits, documents or not this can be fixed!"

Seto's eyes narrowed, how foolish can this woman be?

"It's not that simple, but of course since you're an imbecile it would make sense to you that it would be a solution you would like. But in the real world documentation is important, unless the store owners want the cops at their doorstep and lose their license and business, they need my signature to prove otherwise..which you failed to provide. No matter how much you want to justify your mistake or think of foolish ways to fix it, it won't change anything,"Seto walks towards his desk to pull something from the drawer,"because the damage is done and now I have to clean up your mess."

Claire was curious at the pink papar he was holding, "What's that?"

Seto hands it to her with a serious face, "Your pink slip...you're fired."

Claire went wide-eyed in horror as she saw hr pink slip, "What!? No Mr. Kaiba please! I'll make it up to you I promise, this was a one time accident!"

Seto hissed, "There's a difference between making mistakes, and being an idiot. You were on your phone when you should of been working, and you shredded the documents that were supposed to be faxed because you didn't have enough sense to pay attention what you were about to destroy or what Roland told you what they were. If you care about chatting instead of actually doing your work, then you have no reason being here at all. Besides, why did you think told you not to sit down when you came in here?"

Claire began to shake in rage, tightening her fist,"You can't do this to me! I've been working here for five years without complaints when you took over after your stepfather died!"

"And that's more than enough, now get out of my office and pack your things. As far as I'm concerned you're finished here at Kaiba corp." Seto said harshly.

Claire glared at him,"You really are an asshole!" Claire started to curse, not caring about who she was taking to anymore, "I made one simple mistake and you're throwing me away like a piece of trash!"

Seto felt what was left of patience thinning, he sat down and looked at Claire, "One mistake you say? Actually, there are other reasons why I'm firing you besides you moronic action."

Claire blinked, "Other reasons? What are you talking about?"

"I've heard rumors that you've been having other people do your work for you when you were supposed to stay late at the office a few times. I did an investigation and after seeing the times you left on the nights you were supposed to work and having people come forward that said you pawned your work on them and others, I realized now what I'm dealing with. So not only are you a complete imbecile on paperwork, but you're also lazy and have the nerve to tell people what to do, that's my job. I don't tolerate that kind of behavior here, miss Dimitri, you were lucky to have this job, in fact you were lucky at all to even have one here, and I should have fired you a lot sooner. Your incompetence became your downfall, but in the process you brought me down with you, now get out."

Claire started to breath heavily as she turned around after violently snatching the pink sheet from her former boss's desk, "This isn't over, Kaiba, I'll get even with you for this! Until now I was the one who helped build your empire as your secretary giving you documents and scheduling your meetings and appointments with other businessmen, and now that you got rid of me it will be in the worst shape possible! I was willing to help fix my mistake, but you ended up kicking me out! I hope you're prepared for the consequences when Kaibacorp goes into shit without my help!" with that she slammed the door behind her.

Seto lays back into his chair and pinched the bridge of his nose, "Oh thank god, I'd thought she never leave..."

Seto was now exhausted. While he got rid of the problem, another one has appeared now that he has no secretary. Unfortunately Claire was right, despite being a CEO, secretaries are what make the companies prosper as they took care of the important tasks behind the curtain. They don't just schedule appointments and meetings for their bosses and sit at a desk in the front, they also get important presentations done by using the latest software's, handle situations with employee's that they can talk to their bosses about in negotiations, conduct research for the newest projects and they are who keep the public away from the boss as the messenger.

And Seto will need one more than ever once the press hears about Kaibacorp's situation.

Seto heard a knock on the door and it opened. Mokuba popped his head in to check on his older brother, "Seto? Are you okay?"

Seto lifted his head and sighed, "I'm fine, Mokuba, but I'm just tired."

Mokuba came inside and closed the door behind him. He was wearing a white suit with a dark purple tie,he also recently got a hair cut and now his hair reaches his face, "I heard you fired Claire, I passed by her and she looked really mad."

"That's what happens when you don't pay attention at work. Because of her not faxing those documents we're losing money, Kaiba corps in a crisis now because of what that moron did." Seto said, still irritated.

Mokuba crossed his arms, looking concerned, "Yeah I saw the charts, they're not looking so good."

Seto stood up from his chair. "Well at least getting rid of Claire solved one problem, but now I have to deal with the stock market going down at my company, and now I don't have a secretary."

Mokuba smiled,"Don't worry, bro, you'll get it back up in no time. We can still fix the duel disk problem, and we'll find a new secretary while we're at it." Mokuba said, encouraging Seto.

Seto sits up,"It won't be that easy, little brother, I'll have to make a lot of phone calls to those businesses again to arrange another shipping, and I'll need new documents to fax them so this time they will have the legal rights to sell the disks and get back the millions we lost." Seto said.

Mokuba saw the discouragement in Seto's eyes. He's been stressed out all day because of Claire's mistake and he hated seeing his big brother like this when he wanted to see him look like he was on top of the world. Right now Seto had a lot on his plate and Mokuba was willing to do anything to help him.

"Right, but first we need a new secretary to fax them, we'll have to start putting out applications for the position." Mokuba explained.

Seto looked at his brother with a tired face, "Can't you do it? I don't want to deal with secretaries right now." he said in an almost whiny tone, that if anyone else besides Mokuba heard him, they would know that Seto is just like any typical teenage boy.

Mokuba raised an eyebrow, "...Yeeaahhh, but I'm vice president Seto so my hands are full on that, and I'm thirteen. You need a secretary that will be able to get the paperwork in on time unlike Claire. And now that there's no secretary, finding and hiring a new one would be a good idea. Besides many women would kill to work at Kaibacorp."

"You mean so they can have a chance to see me and hope I'll have sex with them." Seto added.

Mokuba frowned, "Seto..."

Seto sighed in defeat. While his experience with Claire was unpleasant, he knew that without a secretary to keep things in order there would be chaos.

"Alright Mokuba, tomorrow I'll make an announcement that Kaiba corp needs a new secretary. At this point, I want this nightmare to end and save the company." Seto complied.

Mokuba smiled, "That's the spirit," he chirped.

Seto shrugged, "Besides it would be nice to have a secretary that actually does her job and can make me a decent cup of coffee for once. Claire always makes mine taste like an ashtray."

Mokuba sighed.

At the Kaiba manor, Seto was in the bathroom getting out of the shower. He had the towel wrapped around his waist and went to the mirror, he wiped the fog off of it and looked at himself. He was drenched, slightly red from the water being a little hot and his hair stuck to the sides of his face. He leaned over the sink.

"What am I going to do?" he says to himself, his thoughts clouding his mind, "how am I supposed to get the company back on track when it's obvious that most of the people around me are useless!? Mokuba is the only competent one I can trust and he's only thirteen years old! And he's my vice president, but just like he said his hands are full due to that position."

Seto was still stressed about what happened today, no matter how hard he tried not to think about he couldn't stop thinking about his company losing its edge. He had to get himself together so he can have the chance to fix the damage, it wasn't going to be easy and he might lose sleep for it but he had to do it.

He leaves the bathroom and heads to his bedroom, he changed into his pajama's and dried his hair. He sat on the bed with the towel on his head, "I can't believe I'm sinking this low...with the fiasco's with Pegasus, Dartz and Siegfried I've always managed to make it on top. But this time I'm dealing with a situation that an employee caused, and this happened under my nose in my building. This isn't a hostile takeover or someone trying to get rid of me, this is about how I allowed an avoidable mistake to take place in my company.."

Seto took the towel off his head and laid down, looking p at the ceiling as his feelings of anger, shame and disappointment clouded his mind.

"I should have investigated and fired Claire years ago when I heard the rumors of her pondering off her work on the other employee's, then none of this would happened. But the deed is done and at least I go rid of her now before she did anymore damage, but I'll need to do more than that. And tomorrow the job opening as secretary will open and I'll have to deal with countless interviews with people I probably will hate at first sight, I'll probably have to deal with this all week or more."

Seto continued starring at the ceiling, wondering if he's losing his touch as CEO. Seto was always an authority figure who struck fear in the hearts of everyone he's met and always gained respect for his dominance and leadership. Of course, this time, he feels like a declawed and defanged lion with no idea on how to do anything. And he knew that more was about to come from this situation.

He closes his eyes and drifts to sleep.

Oooh tough break Seto, so the search for a new secretary and trying to fix his company has begun. What will come of this experience for Seto as he tries to fix Kaiba corp, and who will be coming to the interviews? Stay tuned!
