The ruler of all the land of Termina slowly drank his wine. He savored every taste, for he knew it was his last day of life.
For sometime he was predicted to have been dead by this day...He blood and cells were saved for new research going on at the bay.
He could possibly be revitalized by an antidote being made currently. Of course he was too weak to go himself, so he had obtained a "pack mule".
The kings only nephew, Zephyr, had just turned 14. At his age he would obtain a shield with a family symbol on it and a weapon of his choice A bow with arrows, a sword, or a boomerang. Everyone usually chose the first two but he chose the boomerang. He had got a letter, from his royal uncle,
stating that he needs to go out to the bay to get a liquid of red to help keep his uncle alive. Zephyr agreed and had rode up to the kingdom that day from his farm to get the money for it.
The king was sitting on his throne quivering where he sat. Zephyr smiled made small talk and then got the money. Zephyr rode off into the west to the bay, only to find it blocked by a guard. The bulky man threatened to kill him if he went passed him. Zephyr wasnt strong nor was his boomerang, and each area at the time was ruled by different kings so they were enemies. Zephyr asked what to do if he wanted pass the guard. The guard said a letter from the king of the wests mistress who was in the canyons at the time. Zephyr nodded and went off to the Ikana Canyon.
While Zephyr stopped to take a nap he was ambushed. Firery lights flashed all around him and popping noises irritated his ears! A ninja like woman hopped from the tree he was sleeping under.
She wrapped a net over him and knocked him out. He went down and could feel himself being dragged on the ground and through water of a river
He woke the next day, paralyzed, lying on the ground. He suprisingly got up and looked around. Then he saw the girl...carving a heart shape out of wood. His puzzled curiosity made him ask what she was doing. She turned casually and asked what his name was.
"Um...Zephyr..Why?" He answered "My name is Amy and im your new relationship status" She answered Zephyr personally thought to himself what a crazy snitch she was.
"Um...where are we?" Zephyr asked "Ikana Path, the leading trade route of Termina! Also leads you to Ikana..." She answered too busy in her carving. He saw the obvious dirt road to Ikana Canyon and then thought for a split second before smacking Amy upside the back of the head with his boomerang. He grabbed her rations and the wood heart carving before riding on HER horse away in the sunset.
