Painful day like this time is good for you
Yugi sat at his desk at school, keeping to himself and being silent. Therapy wasn't helping either. His mother had just been locked up for child abuse, and Nazura...the snake-girl who had helped him and Yami...was dead. Yami seemed incredibly distant as well.
//He probably wanted to say something more to Nazura before she went.// Yugi thought to himself and pulled the cobra pendant out of his pocket. It was the last thing he and Yami had gotten from the snake-girl.
The teacher walked into the room and announced the arrival of a new student. Yugi sighed and glanced up at the door, waiting for someone like Jonouchi or Honda to walk in. It didn't matter though.
Until she walked in.
She was about Seto's height, and just as thin around the waist. She had short (as in...Noah-short...but not neatly combed) white hair with blue tips and *white* eyes. At first glance, it looked like she was blind. She wore a guy's uniform, unbuttoned with a black tank top underneath. She wore *short* shorts and black boots. They were two inches tall, the bottom rubber anyways, and they were black leather with strips of studded leather cutting it off into sections all the way up to a few inches shorter than her shorts.
"Class, this is Kamui Saotomei."
"Hello Saotomei."
Kamui bowed and spoke, her voice like ice.
"Please, call me Panoru."
She took a seat between Yugi and Yami. She slipped Yugi a note and waited for his reply.
It said:
"A snake-girl told me to say hi. Meet w/me after school."
Yugi agreed, and met with Panoru without even telling Yami.

Yami didn't like this girl from the moment he saw her. Her white eyes were not natural and they were evil She had a dark force gathering around her with every move she made. And her name, "Kamui", had two meanings.
"One endowed with the power of God"
and "One who hunts down the word of God"
Yami didn't like either of these. And he didn't like it when Yugi was not there when he left.
He didn't like Kamui, but Kamui was going to play some games.
