A/N: I will never stop making these! For some reason, I really love writing them! So enjoy! Also, this was inspired by a song. You all should know which one!
Necklace Made of Rope
The slight breeze passed throughout the forest, wrapping around a teen. He lay on the cold ground in the decaying grass, shivering as the wind made contact with his bare arms. He eyes slowly fluttered open, the sight of the dark forest and dull fog greeting him. He groaned, lifting himself up and getting to his feet. A scream filled with agony cut through the silent air, catching his attention. Stumbling, he went towards the screaming and begging. The cries cut his body, piercing his heart. It actually hurt to hear this girl cry out in pain.
Are you, are you coming to the tree? Where they strung up a man, they say murdered three? Strange things have happened here. No stranger would it be, if we met up at midnight in the hanging tree.
He stopped walking, admiring the carved in words on the trees. He shook his head, continuing his journey towards the cries in pain. The twigs sliced at his bare arms, as if trying to tell him to stop, but he kept going, growling as scratches and cuts formed.
Are you, are you coming to the tree? Where the dead man called out for his love to flee? Strange things did happen here. No stranger would it be, if we met up at midnight in the hanging tree.
The carved words seemed to lead the way towards the voice. The boy ignored them though. He didn't bother to read them anymore. He just wanted to find the girl. And the screams of 'help me' and 'let me go' were enough for him to find her.
Are you, are you coming to the tree? Where I told you to run, so we'd both be free? Strange things did happen here. No stranger would it be, if we met up at midnight in the hanging tree.
The screams finally stopped, and the last sound the boy heard, right as he got to the spot, was a loud snap. Like a bone being broken. He stood there in horror, looking up at the tree. A girl hung there, a noose wrapped tightly around her neck, that was tilted at an odd angle. A chill ran up his spine, and he felt himself slowly walked forward. He felt sick. He wanted to run. He wanted to just leave; act like this never happened. He didn't want this to be real. He didn't want this girl to be dead. And before he could turn around and run away, he felt something hard strike his head, knocking him into darkness.
Are you, are you coming to the tree? Wear a necklace of rope, side by side with me. Strange things did happen here. No stranger would it be if we met up at midnight in the hanging tree.
.-'XXX'-.
Alex fluttered his eyes open, groaning as he did so. He slowly sat up, seeing he was back in bed. He shuddered as he thought back to the memory of his dream. Slowly, he got out of bed and got dressed for school.
As he walked down the street, he noticed something in the park that was close to his home. He slowly walked towards the tree, looking up as his blood ran cold. There, hanging in the middle of a thick branch, was a noose, ready for anyone to be hanging there.
A/N: Wasn't the best, but my laptop decided to die three times while I was writing this! So yeah, that's why the ending sucks!
