Kurt Hummel has everything. He is the kicker of the Lima Titans, currently the best football team in the whole midwest. Not a single game lost, not a single kick Kurt has shot missed. Small and sassy, he gives the power of the gay minority to the team. Heading over to the National League to reach for the Super Bowl there's nothing out of his reach. Except getting out of the circle of physical, psychological and sexual abuse from his boyfriend.

Blaine Anderson, on the other hand, has been falling for months. Once the champion of the light boxing category, he is unable to stand back on his feet. Losing every single fight he gets in, he decides to retire to being a simple boxing coach for kids and adults with bullying problems. Single, and only with the help of his friends, he doesn't really know what to do with his life.

After what he qualifies as the most traumatizing and worst night of his life, Kurt skips morning football practise and practically stumbles into Blaine's workplace, William McKinley gym. Begging for self defense classes, Kurt and Blaine cross paths, What will come out of there?
