Okay so Captain Jack Sparrow isn't much of a fairytale…but neither is the Wicked Witch of the West. So there! ;
Red X: A Modern Day Captain Jack Sparrow.
Me? I'm dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they're going to do something incredibly... stupid.
I live by that…I tend to find the average honest man (as average as you can get in tights) very…how can I put this…stupid? Idiot? Um…Predictable! Yeah that's the one. Take Birdie boy Robin for example. The perfect picture of an honest, admirable (pheesh) hero, and for that he's set himself up for a bigger fall than anyone could ever hope for, mainly that anyone being me.
Because he always does things valiantly and perfectly, it makes it even worse when he fails. And boy does he fail. An example of Bird boy's failure you say?
Well…Me.
People find me a nuisance, dangerous, a criminal, a thief, a conman, mysterious, a number of the female population find me rather sexy, which you know…I can't blame them for. But do you know what all this tells me? That they talk about me. This to me is a compliment.
I don't pretend to be perfect or to be a criminal mastermind and I know I'll never be either. I steal and I cheat. I have morals and I now and then help out the good guys. I'm at the center of the scale waiting to be tipped in whosever favor benefits me. I tip toe the line, sometimes placing my feet on one side.
I can talk about metaphors all day, but I'm here to talk about someone who I think was based off of me. How can I blame the good movie makers for thinking of me, but still I'm giving myself a little recognition. For I tip my hat (if I wore one) to Captain Jack Sparrow.
On that note…the man wears a very nice hat, sometimes I wish the X costume came with a hat…but I can't have everything I suppose. I need to do something about that too…
But he is a man after my own heart, our kind prove that you don't have to have a side, you don't have to either be an outstanding citizen, never drop litter or…steal a boat. You don't have to be a heartless crook. You can and should do whatever you want, when it suits you. And Jack Sparrow is doing just that!
You if I had to choose a side I rather…I'm going to have to go with my friend Captain Jack…
There will come a moment when you will have a chance to show it. To do the right thing...
This should answer your question? What can I say? I like my freedom.
I love those moments...I like to wave at them as they pass by.

I love POTC at the moment. Davy Jones may be one of the coolest bad guys ever…I wanna learn this story ssooo bad! Le sigh…
